The Small Storytelling Moments of All Out

Not paying much attention to the over reaching storytelling of the matches.

I love the small actions like MJF pondering betraying Rhodes with the chair.

Jack Evans slowly talking to Angelico you can notice how he is getting angry and ready to attack instead of just turning and attacking from 0 to 10.

And i'm not sure if that was it but Scorpio Sky looked angry even if he won.

I think Sky and Kaz both looked upset after they won, since the crowd actually booed SCU due to their love of JE.

I really liked during the main event ring intro that Hangman wouldn't touch the belt, but Jericho did.

After hitting a shooting star, Marq rolls his partner in to cover since he's not legal.

Change of pace from whoever's in at the time is legal

Most of the big ones are covered, but I also liked that Omega wasn't just acting like everything was peachy keen wrestling PAC, and was selling having his mind elsewhere.

I liked how they kept bringing up MJF accidentally distracting the ref because of his inexperience as a manager while Tully and Spears went to work on Cody whereas in the back of your mind you thought he was in on it with them and was going to turn on Cody.

I'm really glad he didn't cave just yet. It's much more intriguing to see if he's a sycophant like we expect, or if he is developing genuine respect and/or affection for Cody after all.

Had the same thought process last night. I pitched the idea that MJF might turn to start a Horsemen-like group with Spears and Tully last night, because that looked like the path they might go down, but I like what they're doing with this slow burn on MJF. My friend last night commented that it'd be a mistake to blow this off this soon, so I'm glad they're really playing this up. MJF considering it last night was a great little moment.

Yeah, if All Out is going to be the biggest annual show each year (not sure if that's the case, could be Double or Nothing), I think you could easily drag the Cody/MJF alliance and eventual betrayal into a very long term storyline, and draw some major bank when you're ready for the blow off.

I'm curious if they use the tag tournament to add the next wrinkle. You would assume Cody and Dustin enter it together but you could see MJF clamoring to be Cody's partner.

Not a storytelling moment per se but I really love the little display showing a competitors total win-loss record.
