Something that would be really great to come out of this show if Jericho loses the belt - I could see him mining a ton of material out of Cody beating him on his birthday.

It feels to me like it's going to be a mistake closing on Moxley / Omega instead of Jericho / Cody. The latter's probably going to be telegraphed by what time it goes on due to knowing something else is coming after. I'm expecting a f*** finish in Cody/Jericho (my best guess right now is MJF turning, but I expect something to happen that screws Cody), so it makes sense to have something else after it so that people don't leave the show with a bad taste in their mouths (and having Omega/Moxley being a Lights Out match gives a kayfabe reason for it to go on after the title match). |

I'm watching the countdown show on YouTube; it's REALLY well done, love the type of feeling they're capturing here.
Also really appreciate an angle of the Ortiz/Santana vs. Bucks being the former LAX coming from a rough upbringing in the outer boroughs of NYC while the Bucks had all kinds of support and family around them as they chased their dreams in sunny SoCal. Gives Santana/Ortiz greater motivation and character depth for wanting to take down Matt and Nick.
Same kind of vibe with Moxley/Omega; Moxley as the rough and tumble brawler and hardcore fighter who scraped from the bottom and Omega as the naturally gifted star who took the risk of moving to Japan, but quickly got the chance to live the dream in the process.

I wanted to catch the last couple weeks of TV I've missed because of other stuff, but I've been spoiled on it and don't want to miss this live so I guess that can all wait. I wanna see this go down. That Cody promo alone has me not sure how tonight ends, but I want whatever emotion is there to be a raw and visceral one, which it won't be on a spoilered late watch

Good promo by Bea, but "I get the job done" would have more weight if her win/loss in AEW wasn't pretty damn poor right now compared to Britt's. But, I imagine she meant in general, along with her being a heel, anyway, so of course she's going to puff herself up.

I haven't kept up with Dynamite very well but I'm excited to check this out tonight. Been waiting a hot minute to have Mox vs. Omega injected in to my veins.
