I’m on the side he shouldn’t drink as much. But as of late a lot of people have shot back that he’s “not really an alcoholic” and he “can handle himself” but if you lose the prestigious title of the brand new company that has elected you to be the flagship person..I dunno? Maybe don’t drink as much. Any time people say "can handle it" or "has it under control", they're just enabling the person who needs help. I'll never forget this quote from a friend of Heath Ledger's the day after he died: "He did take a lot of stuff, but he always had it under control". Even as a corpse, some friends can't accept you had a problem. Anyone close to Jericho who says he's fine is probably forcing themselves to believe it. Yeah, I worry about that too. Heath was a bunch of sleeping/mental issues where here, seems like Chris is just used to and likes drinking. He’s adjusted everything else really well as he’s aged..his body, conditioning, character. Maybe this..really ridiculous situation will be the wake up call?? Lol Anyway

Million Air is the service that handles private planes. Tony Khan just blowing through that money. In Khan's defense, he's practically more in the air than on the ground nowadays with the various ventures he's responsible for (ie AEW, the Jaguars, Fulham). I doubt any of the money going into AEW is going into the jet, moreso just overall "Khan Family Business Expenses".

So apparently he was wasted and doesn't know if it was actually stolen or if he just left it somewhere. Somehow I am not at all surprised I get putting on a great match and winning a title, it's a pretty high notch on your career and you'd wanna celebrate that, but this isn't the first questionable drunk Jericho story. You gotta put a pin in that man, they gave you the keys to the kingdom to be the first champion and the current face of a hot rising company. You can't be bringing PR like this to the fold or you'll be dropping it at the first TV Tapings, AEW isn't gonna f*** around. Yeah, I think AEW has to send a message here.

And seeing how Jericho mindset thinks, he's going to basically get Cody and the boys to let him use this as heel heat on TV but if he lost the title due to being drunk or inebriated, i'd be pulling a Vince and having you lose it first TV show to Cody or Omega.

Would this be the point where we decide that maybe Jericho has a drinking problem? Drunkicho seems to be showing up more often than not these days. He's always had it. He's talked about Drunkicho running into "Eddie The Giant" in WCW and brawling at Denny's. I suppose. He's always been a hard partier, but at a certain point he's definitely gone from "likes to get wasted and have fun" to "needs to get wasted to have fun".

You totally should spin this as a storyline though at least partially. It being Jericho winning let his ego go into full overdrive and he became a detriment almost immediately. Him losing the belt could then be exactly how Omega lost to PAC, he's at the top of the mountain and gets real cocky thinking he won't be knocked down, and then does. Then go from there.

Oh, I think they absolutely have to, in some way. NJPW already looks at them side-glance because of Kenny leaving for them. Now a guy they have penciled in for a big match with Tana at WK is bringing AEW some embarrassing PR. If they handle it wrong, you can probably forget about any sort of working relationship ever (the whole CMLL/AAA thing aside).

So help me if this is another stupid Janela-type-cutesy-worked-shoot...I may dislike that more than if AEW did obsess on shots at WWE.

Damn, that's a scary sight! Nothing says "I've got my drinking under control" like taking drunk photos with the Usos, the Twin Kings of DUI...

I'm of two mindsets. One, you use this in story line and take the title off him the first chance you get. However, the other is flip the game plans and take the title off him first show. Let whoever the new champ is put their foot in Jericho's ass one time on the mic and then move on

Damn, that's a scary sight! Yeah he has called the Uso's his back of the bus boys Yeah I remember Jericho's comments about that back then. Just goes to show that man Jericho's drinking issues have been around too long and the fact that this happened, nah that's not a good PR story. They gotta speak to him and try to give him some help.
