Anyone not like reawatching certain periods of wrestlers careers? I rewatch Stone Cold all the time. But from 96- Dec 2001. Then I skip 2002. Rewatch start of 2003 when he was still active wrestler and then don't bother with GM or sherrif Austin. I hate the nonsensical turn after Survivor Series 2001 when they just hit the reset button and suddenly he was a good guy. The inital heel turn was already a bad idea in the first place but really entertaining in retrospect (the turn at mania I would keep but the turn at invasion was even more nonsensical). However face Austin from very late 2001 into June 2002 pretty much sucked and I never rewatch it other than the supermarket brawl, a flair match and a few what promos. They tried to kind of dig up the Austin macmhon feud again but it was just, "eh guys we have been here already". Austin still got big pops but his matches with Jericho and Taker stunk in 2002, shitty feud with Scott Hall, God it all just sucked. I know he had a ton of personal problems with alcohol, injury pain, professionally falling down the card and the Debra stuff. Anyway, I hate it. To spin off this slightly... I was never much of a Stone Cold fan. I liked him, but I was watching those shows for Angle, Jericho, E&C. But as far as WWF was ever concerned Austin drew the buy. He didn’t, for me. Blasphemy.

Assuming Bayley retains on Sunday, would you be cool with a Bayley vs. Carmella feud? I'm surprised they haven't had the two interact yet, since they're real life best friends. It'd be a fine filler feud, certainly, but I wouldn't want to see Carmella come out on top in it. She's not one of those people who really ever need to be champion again, once was plenty. If Bayley's revisiting past feuds, I guess Asuka's going to be her last "ghost" of her past, someone who beat her that she hasn't really come out on top against yet.

A feud where Bayley basically calls Carmella “weak” for being so fun-loving and then we get her winning against Mella to cement her as a heel would be neat.

I was at the gym tonight and decided to put wrestling themes on my head phones.
Disturbed’s version of Stone Cold’s theme was better than I remembered it. I usually don’t like remixed themes but this sounded really good (combined with the preworkout!).

Also, Stereomud doing "End Of Everything" for Raven may be one of the most underrated themes ever.

What are the matches that were supposed to happen at mania, but you are glad that plans changed? I would go with Triple H vs CM Punk at WM30. I have absolutely no doubt that match would have been one of the worst of all time, with Punk (who looked like death warmed up in his last months with the company) getting eaten up in that "co-main event" by Hunter.

I'm glad we got that Seth/Miz/Balor triple threat at WM a couple years ago instead of Seth vs. Jason Jordan, even though it really sucks why plans were changed.

Mania 30 with Punk Orton vs. Batista WWE Championship - Ewww Triple H vs. Punk - what you said Taker vs. Brock - We know happens Diva Multi person match Cena vs. Bray - Ugh Bryan vs. Sheamus - Yes again! Shield vs. Kane and NAO - Squash Andre - Yeah Cesaro, but we know how that went lol 30 legit could've been in the worst Mania discussion.

You know the "Six Degrees of Separation"? Well, who would you consider Pro Wrestlings Kevin Bacon?

You know the "Six Degrees of Separation"? Well, who would you consider Pro Wrestlings Kevin Bacon? Well, it depends on how you stipulate it. It’d have to be someone with a long-ass career, likely across multiple companies. But it’d also have to be limited to a specific type of link, like a specific match type (even if it’s just televised singles matches). If you open it up to all types, then it’s not even worth doing because everyone would be linked super quickly by battle royals and Royal Rumbles. For the sake of the question, I’m inclined to say either Ric Flair or Chris Jericho.

I've said this before here several times but I'm adamant that turning Austin heel in 2001 (particularly the second time) is a mistake WWE has never recovered from, creatively or otherwise.

He seemingly flipped between companies on a weekly basis when he was an active wrestler and has worked with both TNA and WWE (been a trainer in NXT forever).

He was there for the beginning of the New Generation, early on-the-rise ECW, the peak of WCW, back to TNN-era ECW, end of the Attitude Era WWF/Ruthless Agression era WWE, early ROH and that era of the indies, and then TNA. Dude has been everywhere

Are Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville just a tag team of slightly sexier Braun Strowmans? I don't know what their record is in title matches, but it feels like they can't get the job done. Counting the Money in the Bank match where Mandy had it won until Bayley took it.

Counting the Money in the Bank match where Mandy had it won until Bayley took it. Rose has lost five title matches on the main roster (three for the tag belts, two for a singles belt) plus Money In The Bank, and Deville has lost four (three tag, one singles).

Jeez, at least Braun's won the tag titles a couple times.
