I still marvel at the fact that two new charismatic megastars came along in their primes at the same time right when WWF needed them in the late nineties. It's probably happened a few times since and we just don't know because of scripted promos and stupid booking. Where might Rusev be if they got behind him as they did The Rock? Or Ambrose if they cut him loose to be himself?

I've said this before here several times but I'm adamant that turning Austin heel in 2001 (particularly the second time) is a mistake WWE has never recovered from, creatively or otherwise. I'd say that and The Invasion angle were the one/two punch that cooled WWE off in a BIG way in 2001.

As much as business dropped when Cena was the Ace, the company would have been gone by 2009 if it was anyone else

There was a period of time I was 100% convinced that Tiger Ali Singh was going to end up being better than the Million Dollar Man

So here's a question that doesn't warrant it's own thread, mainly because I'm sure there's already a thread with the answer to it, I just don't want to look for it. Will Smackdown be pre-taped or live every week when it moves to Fox next week?

I'm not sure I remember there being so few new threads stemming from a normal episode of raw.
I'm sure there has been but you get my point.

I like Gable and all, but I wish Pete Dunne would come in and wreck King Corbin's shit instead.

Honestly I think the plummet of the WWF in 2001 doesn't have that much to do with the Austin turn specifically. I feel like their momentum was already starting to wane, losing WCW I feel like removed a lot of the, "Yeah, badasses against the system!" appeal since they were no longer going up against the billion dollar conglomerate and no longer had an actual war, the roster lost a bunch of top guys at once halfway through the year between Rock leaving to do the Scorpion King and Benoit and Triple H both getting injured, and I feel like 9/11 probably had a pretty substantial impact on people's priorities and on their willingness to go to public events.
Though that said they probably could've stopped the bleeding somewhat if they had just played the hot hand with Angle. People were desperate to cheer for him that fall but nope.

Might be worthy of its own thread, but in your opinion, what's the most exciting match WWE could possibly put on at the moment? And on the flip side, the most boring? For most exciting I'll say Ricochet vs. Ali and most boring, HHH vs. Drew McIntyre ine one of HHH's 30 minute "epics" at WM.

The Sasha - Charlotte HIAC match has gone up on WWE's youtube and a spot involved got me thinking: Just how many times has Charlotte failed to go through a table as intended?? It's probably only this match and Wrestlemania 35 but offhand it feels like at least 5 or 6 times there's been a 'difficult' table involved with her!

Did anybody ever claim to have been in that Rio Tournament for the IC Title that Patterson won?

I’ve always wondered why they abruptly stopped Angle’s main event babyface run that fall of 2001. Was it because they didn’t want it to seem like they were using post-9/11 patriotism as cheap heat?

Mandy Rose is a dufus...Doo-fus. When you're so damned hot that people pay to take your picture and put it in magazines, you don't pass that shit out like pamphlet on how to get through to your local street toughs. You let em' know that they have to pay for the privilege of starring at her like any other regular degular shlub. Woman, have you not watched The Players Club? F you, pay me.

I just find it amusing, she’s not botching so much as tables just never seem to break for her
