So, we will get the Omega vs Mox matchup at Full Gear and thus far in Kenny big matchups he's had hard fought fights but has come up very short. Does the looking good in defeat help him in this case or are they playing it too close to the edge. Def can't rule out this is going to help Kenny as far as TV and having a purpose but after dropping L's to PAC and Jericho on the two PPV's, can he afford this loss to Mox?
Also on the flip side with this being Mox big time match and the promos they had in the buildup, where does a win or loss leave him?
I do like how these W's and L's can have some long term effects and mean something at least right now

Even in a promotion that pushes the wins and losses as mattering I think Kenny can take it.
Mox needs it more.

If they weren’t setting this scenario of Omega potentially snapping if he loses again, then I’d say no.
But since they seem to be setting up something...yeah, he probably can.

I can't see Omega getting heel heat, but I can see them "tweaking" him a bit to where he gets some edge back. I'm sure if he mows some mid-card guys down with V-trigger->One Winged Angel in borderline squash matches, he'll get his heat back in no time.

Kenny has lost to three whole people in 2019 and PAC is the only one who doesn't have some kind of dead-to-rights case for being an active legend, I think he can totally come back from another big loss. Even a few more big losses; whether they're telling the story of him snapping if he keeps losing or if the story is more of a direct, straightforward redemption arc, I think there's a value in that story and that with someone like Kenny, the audience is along for it. Kenny's always going to have the match quality factor on his side to keep himself over and keep people interested, and when they're ready to pull the triger on him he can bring out that top gear shit and re-establish himself again. Hell, this is a guy who went from 'Why are they pushing him?' to justifiable top star in one match. Dude's bulletproof.

Honestly, as long as the W/L records only matter when it comes to challenging the titles in the company, he'll be fine. Just because he can't go after belt, doesn't mean he can't have high-profile matches with other main eventers and pull off wins to drive his ranking back up the ladder.

Sure, he can. He's well rested after that last loss.
Cause he got put to sleep, get it?

Kenny is over with the AEW crowd because of who he was in Japan and in ROH. It may hurt him in kayfabe, but I can't see him stopping being considered one of their top stars in terms of popularity if he loses again.

If anything, given the fact that The Elite is in charge of AEW , might put people at ease about Kenny. Not that I think he would suffer much blowback of being the first champion or winning a lot,but there would be some.

He might be oversensitive to becoming a Jarrett or Triple H and so he's booking himself to lose a lot before he starts getting wins to take away from any perception that he's booking himself as a god.

AND MARTY PRETENDS I'M DEAD. Pretending people are dead is just AEW policy all The Elite guys pretend Adam Cole is dead they even make Britt Baker do it.

Career is over if he even loses once. Time for SuperOmega to emerge and beat a group of 8 AEW upstarts looking for a shot.
