Trying to read Neuromancer by William Gibson
Having a hard time focusing on reading, and its due back to the library in 5 days. I don't think I'm gonna make it.
On the other hand, I blew through the comic series "Saga" (or at least the half that has been released...ahhhhhhh cliffhangers I'm in another Game of Thrones situation now) and am making my way through Y: The Last Man at a lightning pace. Cuz comics has pickshures, and law school fried my gourd I guess.

Picked this up recently: Passed my “1st page didn’t bore me” test. Writer comes off very intelligent and funny.

Been working my way thru a stack of comic TPBs I have never read. Death Defying Devil-Nice art, decent story. Not sure how it would read to anyone that hasn't read the Project Superpowers stuff. Ultimate Captain America-Jason Aaron wrote this mini. Love that Nuke is the lead villain. Megaton Man-This collects a sadly forgotten 80s parody comic. Still surprised how much Ben Edlund was inspired by/ripped off Megaton Man with The Tick.

It is about two people who can stop time by having sex and use that ability to rob banks.

Cyborg by Martin Caidin
Astronaut Steve Austin crashes during a test flight and loses both legs and one arm, gets them replaced with bionic limbs, and becomes a secret agent. Yup. It’s the novel that The Six Million Dollar man was based on. A bit slow at first because Caidin goes into excruciating detail about what happened and how they fixed it. The second half is a bit more of a basic action plot. A fun book.

Started Mark Frost's Twin Peaks Final Dossier earlier. WOW just wow. Not that far into the book and already this is filling lots of blanks and unaswered questions from Twin Peaks.

Put Twin Peaks the Final Dossier to the side, cause I finally got a copy of Kenneth Anger's Hollywood Babylon. Been hearing about this book for decades now. But never could find a copy for cheap. Got it in the other day and so far have read 3 chapters. Yea I have heard lots of the stories in this book are total bullshit. But so far it is a great read.

The Hobbit - JRR Tolkien
Another classic book I never read before. My son was supposed to read it for extra credit in class so I read it too (so I could help him write it up). He never read it at all. *sigh*
I read somewhere that Tolkien created it as a bedtime story for his son. I can believe that because each of the chapters is a self contained story. Characters are introduced and then discarded until the end when they all get thrown together again in one crashing heap. Now I guess I need to read Lord of the Rings.

Loved The Hobbit but the LotR books bored me. Made it half way through the second book and tapped out. Finished Hollywood Babylon, was great, and Twin Peaks the Final Dossair. Started Lobotomy the Dee Dee Ramone biography. And got in 42nd Street Pete's bio today.

Last Words by George Carlin and Tony Hendra
This was a posthumously released autobiography started by George Carlin and finished by Tony Hendra. Really bums me out knowing George Carlin isn’t here anymore.

One Night Only It’s about the guys who only played a single game in the NHL. Quoting myself to say, this book is not nearly as interesting as it’s theme would have you believe. With a single major exception, it’s a bunch of guys you’ve never heard of and they all really have the same story. It went by really fast, they hardly remember a thing, they never played again. It’s not to say it’s bad, it’s not, it’s just similar stories from guys you’ve never heard of. Even Don Cherry, his story is similar to all the others. It’s what happens after that sets him apart, but the book isn’t about that.

Sandman Mystery Theatre. Spent around $100 to get the last couple collections on Amazon but it was worth it.
Might surpass Scalped as my favorite comic ever.

The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. I had not finishing books or I would absolutely pump the brakes on this one. I'm 200 pages in and it's boring as hell.
