I started getting back to reading comic books. I have plenty of trades that I haven't read yet, so I decided to change that. I recently read the Punisher Max series (the Jason Aaron series with Kingpin and Bullseye).

Hiero’s Journey by Sterling E. Lanier
In the 75th century, a psionic, Canadian, warrior-priest rides a moose, befriends a bear, rescues a princess, meets a Druid, and battles evil in his quest to save his tribe. The book is a Frederik Pohl Selection so it is worth giving a read.

I've been going through Grady Hendrix's books. My Best Friend's Exorcism is fun, but We Sold Our Souls sucked. I'm reading through his latest, Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires now. Pretty good so far.
I'm also reading through Wolf in White Van by John Darnielle. I am a big Mountain Goats fan and had no idea he'd written a couple of books.

The Salmon of Doubt - It is collected writings of Douglas Adams, including letters he wrote as a teenager, article she wrote for magazines, various speeches he gave, and the first 11 chapters of a final (unfinished) Dirk Gently book.

Got about 100 pages left in The Bonehunters, the sixth book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen. It’s my least favorite in the series so far but still head and shoulders above nearly all other fantasy IMO. Just finished David Mitchell’s newest book too and I loved it but it was so heavy on the continuity with his previous books that I feel bad for people who start with it. After finishing Bonehunters I’m going to start with Day/Night, a Paul Auster novel my professor got me for my graduation gift but I haven’t started yet.
I’ve also been reading interviews with my favorite directors like Shinya Tsukamoto and a few short stories in Japanese for the purposes of the translation blog I just started. Just digging around for things that I like enough to bother wanting to translate.

Currently re-reading/catching up on Larry Hama G.I. Joe. That includes the Marvel series, the IDW continuation that is still going on, Special Missions, the Yearboks, Declassified, Storm Shadow, etc.
I'm currently at Marvel issue 55 and Special Missions issue 2.

I have only read a handful of ones that Ennis didn't write. I may have to read more but I enjoyed Jason Aaron's run, despite some aspects of Castle's backstory. I will note in that series, I liked the way Bullseye was written, as well as how Kingpin was written.

Dishwasher by Pete Jordan.
The story of a man’s quest to work as a dishwasher in all fifty states. He travels the country sleeping on people’s couches or in his van, taking jobs a day or a week or a few months at a time and then walking away from them, until he meets the girl of his dreams and settles down. Entertaining and not a very hard read

Currently in the middle of Daniel Kahneman’s ‘Thinking Fast and Slow.’
It’s good and meaty. Really covers a wide spectrum of behavioral science and economics.

Started the Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin. Fantastic hard sci fi. Having a hard time getting through book 3. I do most of my reading during downtime at work and it’s been work-from-home. Never get around to reading at home. Something else always gets my attention first. Still trying to get through book three. I do not read enough.

"The Letters of J.R.R Tolkien". It's a collection of letters written throughout the life of Tolkien that covers The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, and a lot of other interesting topics. Highly recommended if you're a Lord of The Rings fan!
