Eli, as much as I hate him, caught fired twice in the playoffs when it mattered. He was a big part of 2 rings and absolutely belongs in. Agreed. His last few years have not done him favors but let’s not act like he didn’t do his part. He wasn’t Trent Dilfer out there to not make mistakes, he made plays for this team and was a big part in them winning. If Eli only won one, I think the HOF talk would be borderline but with 2, he has to be in. His numbers are adequate enough to get him in to add along with the super bowl chips They’d be more like Flacco then they would be Eli Flacco’s never been one and done in the playoffs. He’s played more games in less time. Better numbers in the playoffs plus his 2012 run post season might be the best ever.

Flat no. When Eli got to the playoffs he did his best work and “lucky catch” or not he beat the Pats twice Yup... and he never won another playoff game... ever. 16 seasons and he won a playoff game in two of those. Four one and fines. Can’t say he did his best work in the playoffs when he has that resume No matter what, he made his playoff appearances count Two rings and his body of work is HOF worthy.

He made two of his six count. The others he didn’t really even bother to show up for and most of the time he couldn’t even get his team into the playoffs to begin with. But I agree he’s going into the HOF, he’s a subpar QB with a lot more downs than ups but the Manning name, where he plays and the two SBs catapult him in

We can laugh at Cousins and Winston, but they're both definitely better QBs than Eli Manning, who people fully expect to go to the HOF. I think its entirely possible either Winston or Cousins are lucky enough to be the QB with a talented defense and miracle catches behind them to get a SB win. Then do we change our tunes? To his credit, he also made 200+ consecutive starts over his career, was generally an Iron Man. The Vikings will be looking for a new QB if Cousins doesn't take them to deep into the postseason, and Winston has yet to get his team in the playoffs. Something doesn't compute here. The '11 Giants were ranked 27th in yards against and 25th in Points Against. Does that sound like a talented defense to you? 6 championships in that trophy case and still you can taste the salt.

He did power that 9-7 Giants team into the playoffs where the defense absolutely took over allowing 12 points a game through four.
