Hogan is going to pull his back walking on the long ramp to the ring before the match even starts.

Couldn’t be any worse than the Brothers of Destruction vs DX or Taker vs Goldberg. Please don’t encourage them to try

Hogan and Flair should both be on their "teams" at the Crown Jewel. They can each wrestle a minute and it wont be awful.

I think a part that’s being overlooked here is that he’s trying to put off an 8th surgery on his back!

Hogan vs Vince would likely be similar to Bret vs Vince, and we all know how everybody LOVED that match.

It should happen but not as a traditional match . It should be like when Austin and Booker wrecked the supermarket, instead of supermarket- it should be a retirement home

Obviously Hogan should never ever ever ever wrestle again and it was be awful
But if he did it can't be against OAP Mmcahon but someone who can carry Hogan to something passable like Styles

Stone Cold meanwhile kept his dignity and integrity (wrestling wise) and had his last natch at 39.

Ok I just watched what I believe to be Hogan's last natch at BFG 2011 VS Sting.
It wasn't as awful as you'd think and they managed to get to the end without embrassing themselves too much but obviously Hogan really, really showed his age and that was nearly a decade ago!
I seem to remember Hogan tweeting after the match something like "ha marks, I told you can still go, I even took bumps in the maych" (he took 3 flat back bumps) and then a few days later tweeting his back was messed up again.
Just taking a back bump, especially at advanced age is gonna mess you up, and especially after nearly ten back surgeries.
Obviously Hogan spent most of the match standing and punching.
Was cool to see him Hulk up and help Sting though.
If I was WWE, knowing that is probably Hogan's last natch, and like him or not hes obviously a huge deal in WWE history, maybe I would somehow buy the TNA tape rights just to that match and put it on the network one day as a novelty.

I can understand this. Like when a baseball player signs a 1 day contract so they can retire with the team that they spent the most time with.
I’m sure for him being able to walk out the ring one last time to Real American would be ideal.
As long as it’s booked correctly and not like the Bret-Vince match I have no problem. If nothing else Hogan does at least deserve to be able to go out in a WWE ring if he wants.
I’d say have a network special at MSG. Have a tag match and let him retire. Won’t affect in ring or take time away from the main roster.
Could even see if Million Dollar Man wants to come back and try and “buy” Hogan one last time. Done correctly it could be lots of fun

To heck with it. Let them have their fun. With half the roster eyeing the door as it is, how bad can it be for the ones staying around?

His actual last match was a tag match a few months later - him, James Storm, and Sting against Roode, Bully Ray, and Angle.

Just a friendly reminder that all WWE did back in the day was WCW using "Old Washed Up stars" LIKE HOGAN in their programming, and even pegged it as a reason they died.
And here we are.
