7/10. - Last week's felt like a better show to me. This one was good but it felt a bit off on some parts. - Jericho's dope but it feels like he's not trying to be a great heel at times. Felt like he was pandering too much, that shooty shoot stuff just makes his whole "we're not in a war with em" look lame. - Some matches were dope, some matches I honestly didn't care about much like the women's match and that Darby/Havoc match. - The ending of the event was cool. I watched away from the site and social media and without that it felt a bit different to me. Cool show though. Yea pretty much same for me. It’s 7.5 if anything but it was a good step forward from last week but this isn’t a perfect show. All these 10s are def based upon enjoyment and that’s good but if grading this show without bias along with enjoyment I think 7-8 is fair

- Jericho's dope but it feels like he's not trying to be a great heel at times. Felt like he was pandering too much, that shooty shoot stuff just makes his whole "we're not in a war with em" look lame. In defense of this, that was off the cuff. Jericho knew Hager needed to be seperated from the WE THE PEOPLE shit and did imo an amazing job at it, by saying that Hager's not that person anymore nor are the ideals he had to follow. He never mentioned a name, but his ability to control the crowd is what makes him who he is. He got Hager over, he killed the chant, and moved on. Something you don't see often in wrestling executed well. I don't think that matters because Jericho even had that problem in WWE when he got his catchphrases over. He's been a heel but he's always had an issue with making people hate him and that's a really crucial part about being a heel. Even when he made those comments the crowd didn't boo the rest of his promo, they cheered it and praised him to the level where dude could say anything and the crowd and fans would love it. That's not being a real heel but it is what it is. It's sorta the same issue AJ Styles had when he went on his heel run where crowds liked him so much. Daniel Bryan though, he found a way to turn that into being a genuine heel and he had the crowd booing him everywhere. Jericho's just not able to do it like that when he needs to unless he's got someone to work off of like when he does the "attacking the babyface to get boos" thing that works well. I know who Jericho is but shit, nah I'm not rocking with it. It's the exact same issue I had with him in WWE because yeah he can control the crowd but when he needs to be a real legit heel he's not always able to hit that mark unless he attacks someone.

perfect, it's perfect in every possible way
no people on commentary yelling at each other or at the viewers, great wrestling, great commentary, pleasant surprises
it's what made me love wrestling as a kid

Legit asking what else you rate something on? A 5 star match is a match I enjoy more then a 4 star match. A 4 star movie is a movie I enjoy more then a 3 star movie. Enjoyment is how I rate everything. Im curious what you rate it on. Are you saying people enjoy it more because they want it to succeed? So they shouldn't rate it as high because they're a fan of the promotion and what they're doing? Isn't that a part of rating something?

10. Like, first week got a 10 for "holy shit, this is really, truly happening", in addition to some real high points, but this week, I'd comfortably give a 10 if it were episode 128 or something. This was just wall to wall good-ass teleivision. Even the low point, the women's tag, was still fine enough, and I'm warming to Britt a bit, but everything else knocked my socks off. Yes, I kept putting the sock back on, only for them to launch right back off.

As I said it depends on people enjoyment of the matter and in the process of grading something a "perfect grade" that's where I get nitpicky. As I said last week, it was the absolute perfect show they (AEW) could have hoped for but it was still an 8 I'm giving it an 8 because I enjoy it and it is fresh. But grading on a curve for weekly shows and once the "freshness" wears off, it drops down a grade for me. All I want is a weekly good show, not the best show ever. For my own personal grading, a 10 is something I will go back and watch. As good as these two weeks have been, I won't replay these shows So to put it a cap on it, is there a bit of a bias in the rating, yeah def. But that's A okay because people are enjoying it. There is a lot more greatness to come and a better product to come as they continue to hammer out everything. A 7 or 8 is still a good show and very good for a weekly consistent rating

If you want a 10 from me, I require an Orange Cassidy match. are you orange cassidy? I feel like orange cassidy would rate every show a “1” until he was on and then he’d give it a “4”. Bold of you to assume Orange would even make an account to begin with.

I’m pretty sure if he got far enough to make an account, he’d not go as far as confirm registration via email.

On the topic of what people vote:
Some are of course trolls, but there are also people who give something an inflated or deflated vote to try to bring a score up or down, to "counter" other votes they feel are too high or too low.
Like, it's all for funsies, there isn't going to be an inquiry, there are no stakes to speak of. I'm glad people are having fun with it, just do not get carried away.

10 - One of the greatest wrestling shows of all time. Will be talked about for years and will rewatch multiple times. Will absolutely recommend to others.
9 - A really great show. Will rewatch.
8 - Really good show. Some potential missteps. Probably won't rewatch.
7 - Good show. A few missteps, but good.
6 - Ok show. That's all it was.
5 - Passable show. They need to do much better next week. This won't cut it.
4 - Bad show. Just not good at all. They need to have some serious talks about this one.
3 - Really bad show. A show that's so bad that there had to have been some backstage issues in order for it to be produced. Wipe from memory.
2 - Horrible show. Absolutely horrible and a show so bad it shouldn't be mentioned.
1 - One of the worst wrestling shows of all time. Will be talked about for years due to how trash it is.
I'm trying to think of what show I've given a 1 through these years and honestly it's hard to think of one. Rumble 2015 has to have been probably my lowest possible score. Besides that trash Rumble match nothing else happened that ppv besides that ridiculously dope Lesnar/Cena/Rollins match.

AEW is giving me classic ECW/prime WCW feels at the same time. It's got that rawness. It's got veterans getting a chance to reinvent themselves and/or put over a new generation. It's got hot up and coming talent. It's got a pedigree (Rhodes). It's fresh and you can't predict what will happen. The ending is the perfect example of what works, what fans want.

Caught the replay. Still trying to get to know a lot of these guys but they're doing a great job of keeping me invested.
8 of 10.

My personal rating scale is somewhere along the line of -
10 - Very little if any room to complain for me, enjoyed myself throughout. 8 or 9 - Great show but there's something sticking out about it that I take issue with. 7 - Mostly pretty good, nothing spectacular but thoroughly enjoyed myself. 6 - Slightly better than average but nothing great. 5 - Average. 4 - Kind of on the mediocre side but inoffensive. 3 - Fairly bad but with some bright spots. 2 - Bad but not the worst thing ever. 1 - Outright terrible.
Honestly speaking I probably should've given the show a 9 but I'm presently still riding that, "Hey, this isn't WWE!" high.

I guess a 6. I might do better to watch this the next day because it just seemed slow in places. The women’s tag was a huge bore as was the Allin/Havoc match. The opening tag was amazing though. The main event I probably would have enjoyed it without Hagar (and JR’s commentary about him). Said it before and I’ll say it again, he isn’t a badass and standing there stone face while they go over what a bad ass he is does nothing.
Oh, and Jericho, please less snarky shoot comments. One show needs to be above it, please.
The entire mess at the end was fun and I love them strengthening the Luger/Sting friendship between MJF and Cody. Plus the lights going off this time can be explained by saying the boss ordered it.

8 from me, a solid show, loved the opening match and the end of the show was great, rest of the show was more ups then downs

9. If we're being particular 9.5. If not for the lull of the women's match it would've been an easy 10. Also Ortiz needs to stop biting his tongue over and over. It looks dumb when you do it for 10 minutes. Also I'm not into beards, but Shawn Spears looks more badass with one.
This week was SO MUCH BETTER than last week's show for me.
I love that the Bucks put over Private Party huge. This is exactly the opposite of what I expected their initial run to be. Also Isaiah Kassidy is a very attractive man.
Speaking of, Jericho said Sammy Guevara looked like a Spanish god. No argument here.
Darby Allin is how you elevate new talent that the fans are getting behind. I think his entrance would be better if they turned off the lights, and then that first chord in his song hits as they spotlight him on the stage. It would get a huge pop. But him skateboarding down the ramp.... *chefs kiss*
MJF is being written PERFECTLY.
PAC attacking Omega, and the staredown with Mox.
So much going on, and so many different ways they can go.
The energy from this show was amazing, this one ended and I legitimately clapped after it was over.
Also bonus points for the "no one wants to see this end in a DQ" line.
Holy shit this was a fun 2 hours.

9/10. Loved it, great show. That ending was just chaos, loved every minute of it. Darby looked a star, MJF making the save was epic. I wouldn't mind one or two short backstage promos but otherwise can't wait for next week's show!

9/10 for me. The opening tag match was a great little spot fest and I've always been a sucker for a good Cinderella story, and the main event/ending brawl was fun to watch.
The middle portion was pretty solid: Mox Vs Spears was alright for the most part though it took a bit to get going and Allen Vs Havok was fine and once more it's good to see some of their youthful prospects getting a shot a the big time. As others has said the only real sticking point was the Women's tag match, but even then it wasn't for lack of trying. It wasn't bad, it just didn't measure up to the awesomeness of the rest of the show. (Which wass a pretty tall order.)
