Eric had a fake job like "Tommy" on Martin Lawrence's old sitcom

Eric Bischoff drafted to garbage bin. Well, it'll be an interesting episode of 83 weeks. Back to Damage 365 to do cons too? (Home of the $20 trading card)

I thought that Eric Bischoff was never actually the Executive Director of Smackdown and that he was basically hired to schmooze and kiss Fox executives asses. Anyway, what a storybook comeback for Bruce Prichard. Like him or not, it is pretty impressive to go from being unwelcome in the company to being one of the top executives in less than a year.

Serious answer though, Bruce Prichard is 56.
Heyman 54, Bischoff 64 and obviously Vince is 74. Even Trips turned 50 recently.
I'm all for following the wisdom of the most experienced brains available, but isn't it time to try handing "creative development" over to someone who's under *50 years old*? Could that be why they are struggling so badly to connect to a younger demographic?

Did they get rid of Bischoff because all his ideas ended in Hogan goes heel, and leads a group trying to take over the company?

So, was it all just a gesture more than anything? It was a Hail Mary pass to trick stockholders into thinking everything is fine shortly before the quarterly call. Pass completed, stock didn't tank, let Eric stay on payroll for a little, put someone else in the role. I think someone had to pay the price for the near-million viewers that dropped week to week.

Well now I'm definitely never watching SmackDown. Prichard's podcast is almost nothing but defending the shittiest WWE booking and sucking up to Vince. Guarantees SmackDown is just going to be a Vince show.

Damn. I know some were calling that to be the outcome too.

Remember when some people thought Bischoff coming back was some real game-changing move?

Eric Bischoff will have the last laugh, though, as this will lead to a hot new podcast for him, entitled, "2 Weeks."

Remember when some people thought Bischoff coming back was some real game-changing move? Firing him might be. He's been inside during one of the most unstable eras in WWE history. He has a very successful podcast. Put 2 and 2 together. He can probably expose a good deal of bullshit if he so chooses.

I’ve only listened to a few Bischoff podcasts. I found him to have an abrasive personality and I didn’t really find listening to him enjoyable. Maybe Fox felt the same way when dealing with him. Prichard seems very easy to get along with and will probably be more receptive to whatever Fox throws his way.
In short, Prichard seems like a people person and Bischoff does not.
