I just hope this doesnt mean he cant be in the MCU. He could have some interesting interactions with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, War Machine, and Thor (shame he wont be able to meet Tony Stark, though admittedly that would be 2 hours of nothing but snark). In the full interview they talked about how they would be staying R-rated for solo Deadpool movies and hoped that in the ensemble movies they hoped to have some input on how to best use the character in a PG-13 setting, so they expect Wade to share the screen with the Avengers, Guardians, etc. They absolutely need to keep the cast. Colossus, Cable, NTW, Yukio, Dopinder, Blind Al, and Domino are all perfect. Weasel and Vanessa we're fine too, but I don't see Disney wanting too do business with T.J. Miller and they seemed pretty much out of ideas for Vanessa by the sequel.

I have this idea of how they could bring Deadpool and at least Cable into the MCU. Picking up from the last film, Wade is going around screwing with time. Then Cable shows up, "What the hell do you think you're doing, boy?!!" Suddenly, reality starts to unravel. Wade: "Whoa, trippy! What's going on?" Cable: "Well, now you've done it!" When reality reorders itself, they're in the MCU. Opens up a bunch of possibilities. Wade could meet a version of Vanessa who has no idea who he is, and he finds out he has a rewritten past he knows nothing about. That's actually a neat idea. Then he could go looking for the X-Men to talk to NTW and Colossus, and when he finds the mansion it introduces the MCU version of the X-Men. Complete with a comic-accurate version of NTW, causing Wade to try to break the universe again so he could get "his" NTW.

Good call. His solo outings can be rated R, then he can cross over into stuff like Spider-Man and X-Men within the PG-13 confines of their films. I know some might say that'll never work, but one of the best episodes of Ultimate Spider-Man is the Deadpool episode, wherein they had to find super funny and clever ways to get around Deadpool's mature nature. For example, Deadpool telling Spider-Man that he plans to "Un-Alive" Taskmaster, leading to Spidey chasing him and yelling that he can't just "go around un-aliving people".

I do want to see Negasonic and Colossus show up in an X-Men movie by themselves, just to have a scene where somebody asks them why they keep hanging out with that potty-mouth weirdo with the swords.

Just have Deadpool literally get "bleeped" in an MCU movie. Like:
"Who the *bleep* are...whoa! What was that loud beep noise?"
"You're in a PG-13 movie, Wade. No profanity."
"That's *expletive deleted* bullshit!" I can say "shit?"
"Yeah, but there's a limit."
"Son of a bitch, *bleep*sucking, asshole, mother*bleep*er, douchebag." Ok, I think I got what I can and can't say. Let's roll!"
*everybody rolls eyes*
"*expletive deleted* yeah!"

I just really want him to interact with Tom Holland Spider-Man
That has all the makings of being legendary.

They used to interfere with things that make money all the time, look at Miramax, which is why people had doubts, but they've gotten better at just leaving things be over the past decade. That's more what I mean. The Eisner era is sort of an anomaly in Disney history because one man had so much power over pretty much everything, which lead to creative and financial burnout for both him and Disney. Iger, whilst not exactly hands off, is willing to let other people put over their vision if it makes money which is why Pixar never really got affected by it despite The Good Dinosaur doing below expectations because of everything else that was making money. Something something cashgrab Pixar sequels. But then you said, "not exactly hands off."

I mean, I kept saying this to people. Rated R Deadpool makes money. Disney doesn't interfere with stuff that makes money. Why would Disney want to risk not making money? And not that most of you care, not being fans (to put it mildly), but Family Guy has restarted and has the same kind of humor (albeit at a slightly later time). 20th Century Fox = the "adult" label, mostly. And Deadpool as R on his own and PG-13 in the MCU would work too. Love some of the ideas you came up with.

As others have said, not only would a PG-13 Deadpool movie work, it'd be more accurate to the comics. If anything, I'd think it'd be clever to see how they get around the restrictions.

They’ll release the movie as PG-13 but really put over how connected he will be with the MCU(with a big appearance by Cap or someone). Then they will release the R rated cut for more money later on(at least as a separate Bluray or a more expensive version set). Marvel likes money.

Yeah like the Rated R stuff is funny and you have to be creative in that way too but I think there is a lot more that could be done with him under restrictions and trying to break them

When he makes his inevitable Avengers cameo/guest star they need to use something like this: (some explosion happens) Deadpool: What the F- Falcon: Language! Hawkeye: Now YOU'RE doing that?

I'd have Deadpool say Hawkeye's line. It would tie into his fourth wall breaking as the only way he could possibly know about that in-joke is if he'd watched Age of Ultron.

So, that's settled, Deadpool will definitely cross over with the rest of the MCU.

I stand by my idea of Deadpool telling himself he's got one gotta make it count. Then later when hes debating if it's worth it at some point one of the others just respond. "What the f*** are you talking about, Wilson?!" To which Deadpool is devastated.
