Isn't Greg the guy Corny went off on after he left ROH? Who didn't he go off on after he left ROH? Delirious? Most of the talent aside from a few big names? That Greg the coffeeboy guy seemed to be the primary target for his ire.

Cornette's... Cornette, but this is a situation where I'll probably listen whenever Jim gets to this, since I imagine he almost certainly will. It's obviously been a while since he worked in ROH, but recent enough to where he will have some insight on the situation, I figure.

Isn't Greg the guy Corny went off on after he left ROH? Greg the office boy. Cornette is not a fan. Joey Mercury might have bought all the shovels out of Home Depot but I have a feeling Cornette is headed over to Loews to clean out their supply right now.

Christ, what a shitshow.
This feels a lot like what happens in businesses where stereotypical business types take over and just look to keep costs low at the expense of creating a solid product or a safe workplace. With Sinclair at the helm, that doesn't shock me.
And wow, Joey even defending Bully on the "Be a fan" thing, because in Bully's defense there was no security there, and he was turned to as a veteran to make a judgment call. Damn, that all makes a lot more sense now.

Greg has been around since 2016 or so.
To me, that makes a lot of things make sense. Including the Bully Ray situation.

If the bit Joey said is true, that the ROH incident with the whole "be a fan thing" happened because there basically was no security to speak of, that'd also explain someone saying they saw Delirious as one of the security guys himself, ROH being so mum about it past just maybe letting Bully do whatever, why they had no protocol to begin with for handling something like this, even why something so asinine could happen if wrestlers were on edge, if they didn't have proper security.
Bully still sucks, but still, maybe he was allowed to be thrown under the bus? I don't even know anymore.

Sinclair owns roh. I do not think they know this. Owned by a multibillion dollar conglomerate who spends nothing on this rinky dink wrestling promotion except that one msg show where roh shit the bed booking wise and lost new japan's trust booking dumb shit.
Let this air out there. Please people notify sinclair about the mudshow they produce.

ROH's last few years are starting to make a little more sense now about how it got to this point.

Is anyone else having a really hard time understanding what Joey is even saying? I feel like I’d have an easier time listening to Scott Steiner because it looks to me like Joey is getting angry at the people who are siding with him.

I think the deal is that he is going "opposite day" (hence "retrograde") to get around a contract clause.

The fact that Alex Shelley was taking care of their roster for them because they had little to no medical staff is the type of thing you'd expect to hear as a joke and not an actual thing that happened in this honorable ass company
