Over the last few months he has seemed to change his tune and the writing was on the wall but it is still surprising
He said he wanted to leave stuff in the past and this seems to be a "new start" per se. Who's to say if he ever deals directly with WWE to get him back in the ring at some point but having him back in wrestling in any capacity is a big deal

*Renee asks Punk a question about something that happened on Raw/SD*
Punk: "Don't ask me about wrestling."

So, who's going to be the other man in his cuckold angle? Kane's a bit busy, but Bryan's still available.

I remember him saying that he'd think about working with the company if Vince and Hunter weren't his bosses and according to what we know about this show it's FOX rather than them so it makes sense. Either way, he's relieved himself of the hate he's had in the past. Maturity.

There was a time I would have been stoked by this. That time has long passed.

I fear this is just going to lead to the crowd chanting "CM Punk!" more and more. God I hate those chants (and Punk's the reason I came back to wrestling, so it's not like I don't have a soft spot for him as a performer)

Just that when the wounds were fresh, it was too far away to think about and then more recently that he'd do it for a lot of money

I hope he’s a complete supermark that makes Mark Henry sound like Bryan Alvarez.

CHICAGO?!

Yea, like that stuff with him and Colt is still odee suspect and I have my doubts on that BUT that withstanding as I said over the last few months he has seemed to start to be more mellow and just not be that guy. In the end, it is a deal he most likely couldn't pass up. I get good money, get to give my honest and sometimes brutal opinion and WWE can't tell me shit, f*** it why not No doubt Vince will try to get him to wrestle again at some point but Punk really doesn't have that wrestle to itch. However, it has been a few years and he would have a few new people to work with if he decided to come back at all which I doubt will be full time Let's not get ahead of ourselves tho. Dude is back and back in a capacity which uses his best asset in his voice.

Yea, I think he is going to find a lot of joy It does, speak volumes that he says people think they got the answers, but he changes the culture so he's def not in this for a paycheck, he wants to give it his best shot

It feels almost sadistic in a way that so many are going to watch this show now for Punk, in the hope that he's just going to dump all over WWE on a WWE-branded show.

How long until he is called a kiss ass for not doing that every week? Or the show is boring because he's not grump all the time I'm kind of hoping that any time he is kind of positive about something, it would get people to think "You know, maybe this thing ISN'T so bad?".
