After watching Trubisky, I apologize for ragging on JimmyG earlier today.

If my team traded up for and drafted Trubisky over both Watson and Mahomes I would lose my entire mind.

Kaepernick needs to stop being confrontational before he has any chance of getting signed. He’s lost his original point and now it sounds like a “Me vs Them” thing from his statement and comments. Get your foot back in the door first, my dude.

Monday Night Football taking place in another place that the Chargers should likely consider moving (after they sell from Dean Spanos, of course).

Has there ever been a QB who’s been blessed with more offensive talent around him throughout his career than Philip Rivers ?

Has there ever been a QB who’s been blessed with more offensive talent around him throughout his career than Philip Rivers ? The Manning Colts from 03-10ish are the only comparison, and he/they at least won something. Rivers is such a fascinating case. His career can be summed up with 2 seasons: That 06 team, who was the best shot he ever had, going 14-2 but somehow managing to lose AT HOME in the Divisonal round to a Patriots team that consisted of Brady and a bunch of steaming hot garbage at WR and a good but nowhere near great defense. He only managed to put up 21. The 07 year: He gets to the AFC title game, plays his ass off on one leg and damn near pulls off the upset on the road. Had his star RB not sat pouting on the sidelines with a boo boo, the knock off the undefeated Patriots and go to the SB. That's a snapshot of who Rivers is: You can't entirely blame him for some of those teams not getting over the hump, but at the same time, you can't say that he did enough to get them there, either.

Which season did the Chargers have the #1 offense and the #1 defense and somehow still missed the playoffs?
