- I think adding more teams to the World Cup/European Championships is a good thing. Elitists might sqwark, but it opens up the big stage to more people.
- Boxing should have one heavyweight title, & the opponents should be picked for the champion. No padding out your record with scrubs, proper bouts or lose the title.

LBJ leaving the Cavs the first time was perfectly fine. The issue was intentionally creating a super team (via mid season tampering) with two other stars. At the time no other superstar in NBA history, right in the prime of their career, did anything close to what LeBron initially did. Now free agents leaving and either creating super teams artificially or joining them is common place. KD just followed the blueprint LBJ handed him, but LeBron was the first. And don't get it twisted about returning to the Cavs. The Heat just got slaughtered by the Spurs, Wade was going to be 33 after missing nearly 30 games, and Bosh was about to turn 30 after spending 4 years neutering his own game to appease James. That Heat team was going to decline. The Cavs on the other hand had a 22 year old Kyrie and a #1 pick that LeGM knew he could trade for more help (Love). He didn't just randomly finish the 2014 season wanting to redeem himself in Cleveland. Everything he does is strategic and calculated. There's no denying his talent, and coming back from 3-1 down to beat the Warriors is definitely a huge plus on his legacy, but there's definitely a bunch of red flags there for me. Man, I am not use to his name being shortened to that and I thought this was some Presidential stuff

The biggest 4 problems with baseball are all off the diamond. In no particular order: cheap owners, shitty leadership, shitty union, flat out bad marketing, It is an absolute travesty that Mike Trout isn't all over everything with endorsements, commercials, interviews, etc. He is a once in a generation (possibly lifetime when he is done) player and everyone in America should know who he is. I'd argue that they should market him, Harper, Stanton, Baez, Kershaw, Verlander, etc. the same. There has never been more talent in baseball than there is right now and you look at them vs. what LeBron, Brady, Kobe, etc. have or had and it's infuriating.

We can debate baseball's off the field problems but the game itself has gotten tedious on the field. All pitchers are just guys out there throwing 98, guys strike out a ton, there's not much action to the game as a result. Can we please have a Greg Maddux type again who throws strikes, gets guys to pop up or ground out, and there's something to watch as a fan. A 2-1 game that takes 2 hours and 15 mins. I remember Kevin Costner's line to Tim Robbins in Bull Durham of "Let's get some ground balls and keep these guys into it. Strike outs are fascist." Mind you, a once in a blue moon Randy Johnson/Roger Clemens/Kerry Wood 20 strike out performance is awesome but that should be the exception to the rule and not the way the game is played overall.
As far as marketing goes, I think the decline in baseball cards has really hurt the sport. I don't remember players all over commericals that much as a kid, but I sure did collect the cards. It might also help if these major names actually, you know, WON something.

Kluber? Soroka? Ryu? Greinke? Also there are some other decent groundball pitchers who rack up Ks because of batter approach, not that they are dominant K pitchers. Flaherty falls in that tier. They can't control guys coming to the plate closing their eyes and swinging from their heels, which is the very nuanced approach from many batters these days.

He doesn't throw high gas anymore but his stuff has always been good he doesn't need to throw 95 anymore

He's not in the league anymore, but Mark Buehrle was one of my favorite pitchers to watch. Game would be done in 2 hours when he pitched because he worked so quick. He was throwing low/mid 80's towards the end of his career and still had an ERA in the 3.00's. Baseball needs more pitchers like that.

You mean you didn't like Josh Beckett taking 2 mins for every pitch

The classic creamsicle Buccaneers uniforms are better than the pewter and red Even though I just learned what "pewter" was, I always assumed the Bucs have been wearing red and bronze since the Lynch/Dunn/Alstott/Sapp era. (Also, I especially hated the "alarm clock" font for numbers of their recent jersey designs.) But earthtones and muted hues never work on any sports jerseys. We need loud and sometimes outlandish color combos (Charlotte Hornets, anyone?) to fit the nature of modern sports.

He arguably had the greatest first decade of a career in baseball history. Most pundits would say that Mike Trout has surpassed that. Bryce Harper and Javier Baez play the game like their hair is on fire. I never knew a caught stealing could be poetry in motion until I watched Baez line up at short or 2B. Do yourself a favor and google those and you might end up getting back into baseball. I'd argue pretty strongly that baseball has never been better as far as the talent goes.

MLB just doesn't have anybody that more Mainstream known but Trout doesn't do a lot of interviews and talking. Which is why when he does, everyone listened. I've heard ESPN several times on there radio say that he could be a huge star if MLB market him but doesn't know if it would worked because of his personality. I mean Albert was marketed fairly well in his prime. He was on a wheaties box, MLB game cover, Got Milk ads, and ext. As someone who lives in St. Louis and watch Pujols in his prime. He was the star of St. Louis at that time. He had his own restaurant. He was everywhere more than any Blue's or at the time Rams in St. Louis. Keep in mind he raised started the same time the Rams started falling from its glory. Yes Warner, Holt, Bruce, and Faulk had there moments as well but once they went on, Albert was THE GUY.

Make up your f***ing mind as a fan
Either your teams sucks and it surprise they do good or they had an off season and you're cautiously optimistic. Too many times, I see a team that is supposed to be bummy actually do good and y'all still f***ing complain cause they didn't win. Cut that shit out, it is annoying.

If Jimmy G was ugly he’d be rated as one of the bottom-third starting quarterbacks in football.

If Jimmy G was ugly he’d be rated as one of the bottom-third starting quarterbacks in football. Jimmy G is Mitch Trubumsky with a million dollar smile and a little "He played for the Pats so he HAS to be good!" magic pixie dust. Ok I take some of that back, he's better than Trubumsky. But not by much.
