Here's one I said back during the NCAA tournament: Kentucky isn't going to ever win any other titles under Calipari. When UK lost to Auburn in the Elite 8 it felt the same as the 2005 Elite 8 loss to MSU, which was the beginning of the end of Tubby Smith. Since Rupp retired the other UK coaches are typically good for 1 title and that's it (Hall, Pitino, Smith, Calipari).

Kentucky Basketball isn't a College Basketball Program anymore, it's NBA Daycare until the younglings are old enough to get drafted.

I have no desire of watching a baseball game for 19 innings
MLB should start putting baserunners on 2nd for extra innings

Come postseason you play until 6 am if you have to It is sad that games go on so long that the live fans go from resembling a pro sports crowd to a elementary school sports crowd in a pro stadium. A walk-off HR is a lot less cool when it's in front of 187 people.

A walk-off HR is a lot less cool when it's in front of 187 people. It just isn't exciting. I think having players on 2nd will instantly create excitement because you have to be alert All players do is swing for the fences for an extra 2 hours and it is boring TV. There are far less classic extra inning games as opposed to the run of the mill 15 inning game. Add on the fact it hurts the team for around a week moving forward because players are gassed

Self fulfilling prophecy fans
Either the team is completely trash and is never good or they get a good team and complain when the team looks normal

Self fulfilling prophecy fans Either the team is completely trash and is never good or they get a good team and complain when the team looks normal On that note; The Niners will not win a playoff game this season. They will lose to Seattle week 17 costing the bye (I’ve been calling this since the OT Loss) then they go into the playoffs with no momentum and completely banged up for the L on the road.

Personal preference: I'd actually prefer the 49ers to win next week and get a high seed instead of the Seahawks. Maybe part of the reason is I'm still salty about Russell Wilson choking a couple weeks ago, costing me a fantasy football playoff game. But also the Niners team as a whole holds a lot of my interest. I'm very curious to see what they could do in these playoffs because, other than starting QB, I think they're the best team in the whole league. But they need to be a top 3 seed for any kind of realistic chance to show what they can do, because whoever is the #6 seed in the NFC (and maybe even the #5 seed) will likely be bounced out quick despite that team being a very good team overall.

Mike Tomlin is a bit overrated as a coach
Don't get me wrong he's good but for the level of teams he has had, feels like he should have a little more accolades but this season saved his job imo because Ben got injured and he did great work with backups

I have no desire of watching a baseball game for 19 innings MLB should start putting baserunners on 2nd for extra innings Walk-off home run derby. Now that I think about it, MLB is indeed the only major sports league that doesn't alter its game rules for overtime: NBA shortens quarters to 5 minutes in OT; NHL does the shootout after 1 period; college football does the overtime with elevated rules to make it more likely to end sooner rather than later, etc. So it actually would make sense for baseball to do something similar. Although, whatever they do, it shouldn't start until after the 12th inning (where 9 batters have taken the plate at least once in overtime) and then the 13th inning can be something slightly different.

Putting a runner on 2nd with no outs to start extra innings is still the best solution I believe It added a lot of excitement to the WBC when they did it and I think it can work in MLB

It's kind of strange that MLB has a mix of some really forward-thinking ideas with some really ass-backwards ones in the name of preserving tradition.
