Also.
So that video of the girl with red hair. Didn’t watch it, don’t know what she said. What the f*** is Corey Graves doing vanity searching himself at 3:30 in the morning and insulting fans? If this were my company, he’d be apologizing publicly and fined.
Dude is trash.

Is there a way that this could be construed as something *other* than taking a shot at Mauro?
I’m really reaching trying to think what else he could be referring to, but if it is what it looks like, a public swipe at a broadcast colleague, then what a really shitty thing to do.

I love Mauro (and Corey is ok too). I know his references are over the top and he shouts non stop but it's awesome. It adds to the NXT atmosphere. Especially chaotic matches like last night. Listen to the lifeless, phony "excitement" of Cole during the end of Smackdown. It's absolutely pathetic.

Another commentary douche ripping on the guy with bipolar disorder.

I..I don’t get it. I f***ing love Mauro on commentary. He's honestly one of the best commentators in all of pro wrestling today imo. Maybe the best. Agreed. His excitement gets me more into the matches.

I'm still disappointed Renee didn't kick Corey's ass towards the end of her time on commentary.

It might be him getting on fans who are harping on Mauro by reminding them there's two others there too? Worded funny if that's the case.
I dunno. Mauro seems like a nice guy so I don't see coworkers just wanting to take a swipe at him, especially when he's so public about his mental health problems. And the WWE twitters are more likely to swipe at a fan than a contemporary these days.

Someone asked “How many Chicago rap references has Mauro made tonight” and he responded “Far far to many.” I still enjoy Corey’s commentary. But he seems like a trash kind of person.

Well that's lame. I wasn't huge on Mauro's performamce last night either but I normally like him. And for a company all about the "attack criticism" right now to then go and be critical of a coworker in public is kinda... odd.

Corey should teach him how to bicker with the other commentators all night to really drive home stories.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mauro mention before the show that he was having something of an episode with his disorder yesterday and was trying to build himself up that he could get through the show he was looking so forward to?

I like Mauro's commentary most of the time (didn't see war games)
Corey was pretty good on NXT commentary but has been pretty trash on the main roster.
I think it was because whomever is in charge of NXT's both told him to resign it in. Instead of just letting him tell over everyone.
Also Mauro is the PBP if anyone is supposed to talk over the others its the pbp.

The forced pop culture references take me out of it sometimes, but in terms of PBP guys, he's by far the best one WWE's got right now. His enthusiasm for the product and not sounding like a complete corporate shill add a lot to NXT's atmosphere.
Graves is an overbearing douche and his awful color commentary on both shows was a major contributor why I stopped watching Raw and Smackdown.
