On the subject of BL making cars looking uglier than they were supposed to, I heard that the Austin Allegro was meant to be a sleak, stylish coupe before BL got their hands on it, too. Allegedly they had to redesign the hood because the larger engine's wouldn't have fit. Also the car was not a hatchback because BL wanted that to be a distinguishing feature of the Maxi. This was in 1973 and soon every small car would have been a hatchback. Enough talk. Here's a BL product that looks decent, the Rover SD-1: Since you seem to know your shit, I'm sure more than me: Is the Rover SD-1 the best car BL ever made?

Since you seem to know your shit, I'm sure more than me: Is the Rover SD-1 the best car BL ever made? Unfortunately these things are older than me so I have no hands on experience with them. The SD-1 is a decent looking large family car with a V-8 and poor built quality. But since BL made the Classic Mini it's a no contest. It's everything from a economy car to a rally star to a cultural icon. All the talk about Go-Kart feel you read in a BMW brochure is true in the classic. It turns 25mph suburbs into rally special stage, every stop light is a full on race start because you need all the speed the little engine has. And you never have to break the speed limit to have fun. And besides being a very good driver's car nobody thinks you're a complete ass for driving one, it's spacious unless you're very tall, it doesn't take much fuel, spares are available, it changed the way people thought about small cars and it's a style icon(just like me).

The Mini defined what it is to make a small car, I mean, I imagine when people of a certain age think of a small car, they'll be thinking of the Mini.

I love big long gas guzzling cars. I had a 84 Olds Delta 88. Now mine was a convertible. But looked pretty much like the one in the picture. Was my father's car and he gave it to me when I was 16. Amazing car. He had a 350 put in it. So the car had way more pickup speed than normal. Got it up to 125 one time, and I am betting it could have went faster. Such a comfortable car to drive. The front seat felt like I was sitting in a nice big recliner. You could seat 3 people across the front and 3 in the back with plenty of extra room. The drawback was in town I got about 13 MPG and at best 17 on the highway. Helped out that when I got it gas was right under a buck a gallon. Finally sold it about 5 years ago, mostly cause I rarely drove it cause of how much it sucked down gas. Sold it to a close friend and he uses it a few times a week to drive to work. And once a year for his vacation.

I've never cared much about classic cars. But the two styles I've always liked is the 2010 to 2014 Ford Mustang, and the 2008 to current Dodge Challenger. Especially the Challenger, Dodge did an amazing job bringing that one back.

The imagination and "lol bet you can't pull that off- WATCH ME" attitude of the Mud Boggin' Community is truly magical Holy shit that's insane. My dad used to have a Geo Metro in the 90's and people would make fun of him because he's this big bad ass dude that looks like Goldberg. I wish he could have gotten this done.

I'll always be partial to the Mustang SVT Cobra 2000, the Mitsubishi GTO/3000 GT and the Ferrari F50.

My nerdy answer: My serious answer: My grandparents had a Fleetwood-Brougham that was similar to this but custom/used. And I want to do some art of this 2019 Pista Spider, because it looks gorgeous.

My first wife and I drove from Moss Point to Denver Colorado in my Olds to attend a concert. And we never bothered getting a hotel room. We just took turns driving and when one of us got sleepy we would lay down in the back seat. I am 6'3" and could almost fully stretch out in the back seat.

Had an 84 Buick Le Sabre and I’d take that to concert festivals instead of hauling a camper. Such a comfortable sleep, and not to bad for boot knockin’ either

Although I am not a big car fan my number one visually is a Vector W8 Twin Turbo, I hear it is terrible to actually drive though.
