Went with 7. Nothing spectacular in comparison to recent weeks, but I liked the emphasis on women's storylines and we have some very interesting setups. And Jericho/Jurassic Express was amazing.

Solid show. But for god sakes why can't they fix the Audio? You can hardly hear The announcers calling the show half the time. I can't hardly ever here JR.

Actually, changing my choice, Luchasaurus finally telling the world he’s got a Masters Degree boosts it to a 10. ...not going to actually change it but in my heart it’s a 10.

1 botched moonsault ever from daniels out of 10. Lol time to roam in the pasture, ride off into the sunset, take the walk into the cursed earth, get put down like old yeller and etc.

Kris and Shida are just a ton of fun to watch, so, dunno what I want to go for in rankings, but I enjoyed myself.

Also, pretty sure that wasn’t a botch since that looked WAY too planned on Daniels’ end.

He's too old now. Daniels has been doing this for so long now. It wasn't just the botch. His vertical base isn't what it once was he has slown down and injuries are beginning to catch up. Time catches up to all the greats no shame in that. I am sure daniels still has a bit of mileage left in him but its coming. I would hate if he stuck around too long and started looking like Taker.

9 for me. The opener was a great bit of spotty fun that still had time for an all time great character moment for Sammy Guevara. Trent? vs. Rey Fenix had picture perfect one-upsmanship psychology that complemented how utterly ridiculously amazing Fenix is while showing how well Trent? can hang. Cody kept on trucking with great babyface material. Nyla's Librarian squash redux was tremendously executed, and I love the Shanna/Nyla feud on principle. (I also found the Britt gag hilarious.) Jericho once again put a spotlight on the young talent in a quality manner. Daniels and Pentagon had a good character-based match. Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida knocked it right out of the park, and I am overjoyed that I will get to see Statlander on my TV and on Dark going forward.
Brandi and Kong's thing was weird, but I appreciated that Statlander got a great defiant babyface moment out of it. And hey, Melanie Cruise is here now, that doesn't suck.
I had to skip out on the main event, but I was already plenty satisfied.

I'll give it 7 out of 10. It was an okay show but nothing special IMHO.

Yeah gave it a 7. Everything on the show was pretty much from alright to good in no particular order, but these butcher bunnies and nightmare cults make any local sunday acting club seem like the Moscow art theatre.

Count me in for 7 as well.
The Shida/Statlander match was the best women's match I've seen in AEW, but Statlander wrestles a bit clunky. Like, doing moves maybe she shouldn't be trying b/c they don't look smooth. I dunno, she wasn't clicking with me.
I'm SO NOT FEELING the direction they're taking Brandi/Kong. We don't need a Lady Dark Order. Wrong direction entirely. Just cringey, and I was actually enjoying it prior. But at least they fixed the intro with Kong's song and the lighting. That was perfect presentation.
I really really liked Cody's interview. It covered quite a few things that were bugging me, and he's such a damned good promo. Probably my favorite segment of the night. Even though he should have kept offering MJF more clothes, taking them off and throwing them in the ring. Just saying...
How about we work on when we take commercial breaks?
You have Nyla Rose doing some awesome shit getting herself over as a (Native) Beast and she's doing it during the f***ing commercial break. The crowd are reacting, eating it up, something not very many of the women are getting (reactions) and you don't have that on the main show. It kind of pissed me off. Sure they showed a replay, but it was nothing compared to what I was seeing on the tiny box on my TV. Someone in the women's division is actually getting a loud response from the crowd, an organic one, and yeah, let's not focus on it.
Butcher/Blade/Bunny got the segment they needed, but they should have done the last 2 weeks in reverse order.
Janela vs. Moxley / Daniels vs. P Jr. / Trent vs. Fenix all were varying degrees of Meh. Moxley's shine is starting to wane with me, and he was hitting some John Cena levels of no-selling in that match at points.
Decent show, not horrible, but Cody and Jericho and that opening match were the only things you really needed to see.

Went with an 8.
The opener was a perfect encapsulation of why I like AEW to begin with. Just a super-fun, super-energetic tag. Fenix/Trent was awesome, not much more to say beyond that. Statlander/Shida was really good; Shida continues her quality streak and Statlander has impressed me the past two weeks. The Brandi stuff was interesting, though I admit the idea of having two cults running around is a bit strange. Jericho continues his latter-day renaissance after not liking his New Japan run at all, and Cody cut yet another excellent promo.
The only two downsides for me were the Nyla segment, which went a bit too long and had most of the cool stuff relegated to picture-in-picture; Pentagon/Daniels, which was solid but underwhelming considering the expectations I had going in; and Mox/Janela, which was a bit short and a foregone conclusion result-wise. But even then, the former angle gave Shanna a storyline which is always welcome, and the latter helped build up Mox/Jericho which is going to be amazing when it does finally happen. And Penta got a win which is always a plus in my book.

Solid 9. Jericho's lexicon segment was a 11/10, though.

7/10. Opening 6-man tag match was fantastic, though the audio issues during it annoyed me. The Lexicon of Le Champion was tremendous. Also looking forward to Jericho vs. Jungle Boy.
Statlander/Shida was really good, but I hope Riho gets back from Japan soon, since she is AEW's Women's Champion, and there may need to be a new contender established (or a Triple Threat with Statlander and Shida). I like that Dark Order's recruiting internet trolls now.
Moxley answering Janela's drunk promo with just one word was gold.
