The Sesame Street Christmas Special is amazing. Which? Xmas Eve on Sesame Street or the one produced for NBC? The latter somehow could only use Big Bird, Oscar, and Barkley and was on a cheaper version of the SS set, I believe. Had lots of guest stars including Anne Murray, Ethel Merman, and Michael Jackson. (EDIT: The latter was called A Special Sesame Street Christmas. You CAN see it on YouTube, only you can see only 2/3rds of the picture and everyone's voices are sped up) On the other hand, CEoSS had this moment where Oscar apparently curses out Big Bird for like 10 seconds straight: Oh my god Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, of course. You get to hear Kermit interview kids about how Santa gets down chimneys! And I love kids stuff where there's little moments between the adults. When Mr. Hooper gets a Happy Hanukkah, it's just heartstrings.

I was just reminded that one of the Pac-Man Warner Archive sets I have has...IT. Yes, Christmas Comes to Pacland.
I also found a YouTube channel with (most) of the original Beavis and Butt-Head Christmas special, where they do nothing but watch videos. (This is the superior one to me, BTW)
EDIT: I am surprised most people agree that A Very Special Christmas with Beavis and Butt-head is the better of the two. For some reason I thought everyone liked the second one with the Christmas Carol parody and all.
The copy online -- and it's on the same B&B channel someone mentioned in another thread -- is mostly intact, but does cut out some parts (no Hall and Oates, no Christmas in Hollis, and a few others...)

Oh, man, all the references to the Sesame Street specials are gonna get me down now :-(
Found a Hallmark movie I was unaware of with Meghan Ory. As a big fan, had to buy it at Barnes and Noble.
Unpacking my decorations, I found I bought a magazine on Christmas movies last year. Pretty good read...just summaries with a little trivia at the end of each section, but still fun. AND it includes Life and Adventures of Santa Claus (1985)!!! As well as both of the MSTed films.

That sucks, that video has one of my favorite B&B riffs: John Oats enters the frame his face is covered by gift boxes
Butt Head: Who can that be? Oats reveals himself to the cameraBeavis: Whoa! it's Geraldo!

Anyone ever stop to think how f***ing weird this scene is? Now you're reminding me of The Middle, when Axl and his friends argued whether Moonracer was their leader.

What are they? Only one I know of offhand is one of the segments in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas where Huey, Dewey and Louie live Christmas over and over again until they figure out what it is really about. It doesn't surprise me to learn there are other versions of that same story.

Any year where I see someone airing ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS is a good year for Christmas viewing.
(Dare I ask if this made the Disney Plus cut?)
