I was just reading about the movie Tomorrow Night which came out in the late 1990s and has a ton of people in it who are now super famous. I haven’t seen it so I have no idea of it’s quality.
But it made me think of how when I find possible early “hidden gems” that I never hear talked about, I’m frequently disappointed.

In 1979, Madonna was still struggling to make it in showbiz, so she signed on to film a very cheaply made B-movie made by equally struggling filmmaker Stephen Jon Lewicki. Called "A Certain Sacrifice", it wasn't released at the time because the guy had like zero money and he felt nobody would pay to see it. That is until Madonna hit it big in music in 1983, thus he released it in 1985 to capitalize on Madonna's fame. The movie sucked ass.

For as amazingly bad a movie No Holds Barred is, it has a pretty impressive cast with a lot of people who went on to do actually good movies and shows

Hercules in New York is either the worst or most hilarious Arnold movie you'll ever watch. Depends on your point of view

Hercules in New York is either the worst or most hilarious Arnold movie you'll ever watch. Depends on your point of view Hehe I love it myself and think it’s better than most folks do. Although many people probably watch it with Arnold’s voice dubbed which makes it worse. His accent isn’t much different there then it is in his later work. I’m glad the DVD I have allows you to watch it either way.

Just remembered Lloyd Kaufman’s Big Gus, What’s the Fuss? which the director himself has been pretty vocal about it being terrible.

Pantera's real debut, Metal Magic (that said, their other pre-Cowboys albums, Projects in the Jungle, I Am the Night, and Power Metal are actually pretty good, and nowhere near as lightweight as the band photos would make you think).

Tom Hanks was in Mazes & Monsters which is a movie about how Role Playing Games are evil.
Here's Spoony's review of it:
(Language Warning).

Kendrick Lamar has some early material like “Bitch I’m In The Club” that’s really silly and Lil Wayne-derived party music, as he was an initial influence on K-Dot. And I actually do like that song, but it’s light years away from high concept and cerebral rap like “For Free” he’d make a few years later.

FOund the dvd cheap at a thrift last year. Michael Chilkis in Wired. No one appears to have seen this film. It bombed in theaters and got a small VHS release. NO DVD NO BLU RAY. ANd Chilkis is a pretty big star now.

Tori Amos had a band called Y Kant Tori Read.
It wasn't good, but she has enough humour about it that a few people have gotten her to sign a copy of it.

He was also in the slasher film "He knows you're alone" which is significantly worse. Al Jourgensen buys every copy he can of Ministry's first 2 albums so that he can destroy them.

Irishboyband Boyzone would become one of the biggest musical acts in the U.K. THIS was their first ever appearance.

Robert Downey Jr's short run as a cast member on SNL in the 80's. It was really, really bad.

GZA, an easy top 10 G.O.A.T. for his clever wordplay, rich imagery, and deep, philosophical subject matter, had an album before the Wu Tang was ever even formed.
He was in the persona of a smooth ladies man.
