Kinda crazy that they didn't do this with the launch of the network. They've been using the names as long as they've been streaming them there.

Wonder if they'll use any of these for Takeover special names or the like, or if they'll just gather cobwebs while WWE throws money in the toilet.

This is right after AEW announced a Bash At The Beach. Something tells me this is WWE saying "We don't want these, but you can't have them either" just like they do with wrestlers' contracts. |

They are probably doing this in part to avoid any issues like they've had with the "Superstars of Wrestling" trademark. They had it trademarked, Albert Patterson sued them because he used it first, so they changed the name to "WWF Superstars" and abandoned the trademark. Patterson then got it, and WWE now has to censor the name in old footage.
