I dig her, and I love that they had Big Swole bust out the James Brown spot using the mic stand.
My only issue with her isn't with her, exactly, but that it's a little weird that both Emi and Daniels are using the mic stand as entrance props, though i guess they do enough to keep it special for her.

Her actual wrestling is top notch, and I like the dynamic she brings.
But she seems stubborn about adapting to the new environment. I can get that she is trying to get her crowd interaction over, but it might actually be better to just let it die and get on with the match instead of trying to force it.

She has go away heat with you even though you've never watched anything involving her? Yup. As I've said before a majority of AEW's entire women's division has get off my TV heat with me. I watched for the first few weeks and decided I don't want to watch any of these women. Same way I watched Baron Corbin for the first couple months and decided I don't ever want to watch him again either. What an amazing way to judge wrestlers. On the scale of if they don't impress you within like two weeks, you never want to see them again. Cool, not like wrestlers don't improve and change or anything constantly, fighting different people, improving their matches... You do you man. But I think that's a really shit way to judge all the women.

Emi is a goddamn treasure.
This surrealist, hair-pulling, oblivious heel act is gold.

Not everything and everyone is going to make the cut because I'm not watching every segment of both shows. If it makes all of you feel better, The Forgotten Sons get the same treatment from me on the other channel.

I could be reading this wrong, but this makes me think she may not be coming back, at least not with any regularity. Couple this with her doing the favors to the new AEW signee, and it looks like she may be focusing on Japan and her home promotion Gatoh Move.

I don't get the impression the plan was ever that she'd be a full-timer for AEW, but if that's all she wrote for her in AEW, she definitely did well by the division, putting over her student and a relative newbie in Big Swole. Seems like a class act.

She's a true professional in every way. Made her opponents look like stars, would win just enough to seem legit, but still lose to those who needed the push.

Seems like she was there just to help until the division settled. Which makes sense on why she worked heel or face as needed.

I've really liked what I've seen and AEW desperately need her full time on the roster because the Women's division is still very light.

I hope this means we see more Joshi that have been MIA since the division started in the new year because we really need them. Sakura's loss of character will be felt. Sakura did say she would like to appear in AEW more though, I would also hope to see her more.

Emi is a great wrestler, but I completely get people not clicking with the Freddie stuff. Anytime she’s in a match with Mei Suruga it’s magic.

I don't think she was ever meant to be a full-timer, especially when she has her own promotion to run in GTMV. So even if she sticks with AEW, she's gonna split a lot of time between the US and Asia.
