With December having a Friday the 13th this year it got me thinking of the season 1 episode with a killer Santa Claus.

My personal favorite is the one with Bill Paxton as an ex con. He killed it in that role and the episode with Joe Pewci and the twins.

For me it's Til Death, which is the one about the guy who uses a voodoo love potion to a rich lady and accidentally kills her with it and brings her back to life, forgetting that it is voodoo, and well, now a zombie. The progressive rotting made it both creepy and hilarious at the same time, which for me, really fits the tone of Tales From The Crypt and is the epitome of the entirety of the series. Plus DW Moffet who plays the lead reminds me of Jim Carey if he dressed as Ward Cleaver.

The one where a grouchy old man played by M. Emmet Walsh finally retires only to find that his wife gives more attention to her pets than him. Very campy and given the synopsis surprisingly gruesome!

my favorite is still "The Man Who Was Death", where William Sadler plays an executioner who goes around killing people after the death penalty gets revoked in his state.

I've always like the one where Sam Kinison plays a rock promoters inner voice and the guy goes nuts trying to get rid of him.

I think as young kid first seeing it Arnold and the other jack dude looked enough alike where I just decided it was the same guy. Then adult me never bothered correcting this original belief.

There was one with some dude getting a tattoo that ends up being alive or something. I can't remember whether it was good or bad...but I do remember it being the first time I rewound and watched a sex/boob scene over and over again.

I can't remember whether it was good or bad...but I do remember it being the first time I rewound and watched a sex/boob scene over and over again. It’s a rock musician who gets a tattoo from some kind of master tattoo maker who makes tattoos that have special properties. He doesn’t know what it will be ahead of time and it ends up being of a bandmate’s girlfriend he hates. He ends up killing her and when he does it the tattoo changes into her as she looks dead. He starts going further crazy and I think the tattoo turns into a dragon and rips itself out of his chest, killing him.

Best episodes by season in my opinion Season 1: Only Sin Deep Season 2: Television Terror (The One with Morton Downey JR of Morton Downey JR Show and WrestleMania V fame.) Season 3: Top Billing (The One in which a struggling actor (played by Jon Lovitz) kills off his competition (Bruce Boxleitner) in order to secure a part in a strange production of Hamlet.) Season 4: Tie between What's Cookin and Split Personality Season 5: Well Cooked Hams Season 6: 3 way tie between the Pit, Surprise Party and You Murderer Season 7: The Third Pig

I immediately thought of Joe Pesci playing twins, and his tan line giving him away. Haha.
