yeah I really expected him to take all the offense, snap at some point, and then turn more vicious and start acting like the Fiend (I assume they can't do the entire thing because it takes time to get the mask and stuff on just right) but just beating Mike as Bray was... a choice. I probably shouldn't be surprised oh dear god am I. What are they even doing in the writers room.

You know how Vince/WWE hates when people change their look without getting an OK?
If somebody wants to change or cut their hair or get a tattoo or something, just have the Fiend jump them and rip their hair out or "brand" them.
Fiend makeovers.

I didn't see it, but I hope Bray wrestled in a sweater. He started out in it but Miz ripped it off.

I think the idea was that Bray was letting Miz "work out his frustrations" as if it were kind of him to do so. Seems like Fiend and Funhouse Bray are one in the same - same strength, abilities, etc., but Fiend channels it differently.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in that it was the first time they're using Funhouse Bray in a match, but something felt off about it once the curiosity of the entrance wore off. I don't think we'll see him much going forward, TBH.

The only thing this dude sells is merchandise. Can't say I blame him this time. Miz's offense looked like crap. Punches and knees that ate only surpassed by Shane McMahon for how fake they looked.

I'm beginning to think that they're less of a split personality, and more that Funhouse Bray is actually just The Fiend screwing with everyone.
I wanna say though, I've noticed in every Fiend match so far, he's not indestructible, he just barely takes any time to recover (REALLY noticable when DB put a leg submission on him, and Bray fixing his shoulder after the Cero Miedo lastt night). Bray was still doing that but he took longer to recover, so.... a little difference?

I didn't see it, but I hope Bray wrestled in a sweater. Did for a while, then he had The Fiend's tank top on underneath.

It's more pointing out that the Fiend is really just part of a multiple personality thing and not necessarily a supernatural source. Now he needs a Dude Love type of character. I would have thought Funhouse Bray would be the Dude Love. Yeah I think the Cactus Jack would be Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt.

Also furthered by the moment when Miz was going to do the Pentagon Jr. "arm spot" and Bray was laughing and then screaming "DO IT!" The point of The Fiend is to be the horror villain that will rip you apart. The point of Funhouse Bray was that he was a passive entity, wanting to receive punishment so that Miz would cave in (Embrace the Hate kinda stuff) and when Miz did Bray was relishing in it. It got to the point where Wyatt had enough and he was tired of playing with his food. I think the match was executed very well other than Miz's god awful offense. No way should Funhouse Bray have been like normal Bray Wyatt or even close to The Fiend, except when enough was enough (and it was time for a change). I'm sad loads of people missed the nuance here.

The only thing this dude sells is merchandise. I’m some alternate universe the Fiend/Sweater Wyatt is wrestling Bruiser Brody, no one is selling for shit so Brody kicks the shit out of him...also buys a human head lantern.

I think he’s supposed to be the part of Bray who “protects” the funhouse and gets revenge on everyone who Bray is afraid of. Bray didn’t fear Miz, so The Fiend wasn’t needed to “let him in”.
As someone else pointed out, Vince ruins everything. Bray probably creates an entire backstory that he wanted to slowly tell. Instead they made him champion & got him babyface reactions.

Has anyone had a match with the Fiend or Bray yet without losing a little of their humanity afterwards? Finn turned back into The Prince Seth became a paranoid jackass Bryan got a new look, and tried to murder him with that hammer Miz tried to rip his arm off.

Though in Bryan’s case, he didn’t really go bad, instead returning to being a crowd favorite leading people in Yes chants.
