So the 1st report was incorrect I'm glad it was. PAC doesn't need to be losing on Dark. Also, Cassidy's swinging DDT on PAC was insane! Vickie was getting wild on commentary. Good vignette for Statlander.

Thoughts as I go. Man, the Bucks really love skirting the line by being faces, but also being REALLY smug and jerkish with friends still. I kinda like it, though, that even people they like and respect, they antagonize because winning means just that much to them. Hehe, Vickie really didn't lose a step, did she? Crowd really lit up when they realized who it was. Private Party are obviously longterm projects in AEW, but I still can't help but feel a little miffed they keep coming up short with top teams. They're probably guys who will benefit when the W/L records reset, but we'll see. Still, getting to work with a lot of major teams is still ultimately a good thing, and can only benefit them in the long run. Still real happy Big Swole got herself on the leader boards. Guessing Shida and her are going for round 2 sometime soon, what with Hikaru watching from the audience and surprised Emi came up short. Machiko looks neat. Bold move putting Britt with a more unknown property, but I guess the aim is to pump up her record a bit more, given I am pretty sure Kris will be defeating her. I just do not see Britt getting another shot at Riho at this juncture. Credit where it's due, I liked Britt's offense here. The discus elbow looked good, though I still think some of her stuff is too sluggish. The rollup attempts just do not look good if you're going so slow, and it's also kind of weird to have the odds-on favorite do those when it's usually a spot for someone who is not expected to win trying to sneak a quick W. Her strikes looked pretty good outside a snap-less superkick, her Slingblade looked less crummy than it often does, and if she can work on her speed, I think that's probably going to help, along with getting a more confident presence. In any case, I see some improvements. "Bea's aggressive streak in the women's division has been second to none". I get that Excalibur's got to talk her up, but it's kind of hilariously obviously not the case when you have a woman out on suspension for beating the f*** out of Leva, Avalon, Shanna, and a ref in quick succession. Bea's also probably going to fall short compared to Kong and Brandi as a unit, obviously. Still, I get that they've got to work with what they can, and it's probably difficult to talk around how Bea really just hasn't been in enough matches where she wasn't putting Britt over to talk up. All that being said, fun match, and I feel like I'm a bit warmer on Bea now, with this being her best AEW performance yet. I do hope she's got her ego a bit more in check and realizes how much she stands to gain by being a team player, but I still am going to watch her like a hawk if she shares a ring with Sadie Gibbs again. Kris was of course a delight, and the boop spot was a lot of fun. Good offense from both women. Fun commentary, too. "Joey, you're good at concussions." Aubrey was great keeping up with the roll, and the finishing sequence was a lot of fun. Fun promo afterwards by Kris, and I thought the Nightmare Collective scouting her was fun, even if they probably should have been more careful to have their signs right side up. 6 Man Tag was a really nice main event, and even if I think I lean Kris/Bea for match of the show for me, it was real damn good. Got a laugh out of Janela's lampooning of Cornette with the maple syrup joke, mention of outlaw mudshows, and talking about the Janela Nutella. Petty? Maybe so, but if someone makes a concerted effort to try to make your life hell, you're allowed a victory lap when they implode. Chuck's armdrag into the single leg crab was damn slick. I really loved that. Jack's armdrag spot of his own was great, Angelico's jabs are nice (really, feels like only a handful of wrestlers these days work on having nice punches. I know that's not the case, but it feels that way). Everything PAC does looks brutal, and really, all six guys are on top of their game. Orange is red-hot, and I loved Vickie's delight about him. Really solid episode of Dark, I've gotta say.

Agreed, that might've been the best overall episode of Dark so far; I also had the Bea/Kris match at my favorite of the night, but just great stuff all around.
Also, Jesus Christ, Dasha.

Just finished the episode. This episode of Dark was so good, you could have aired it on Wednesday. It definitely beat out some of the weaker Dynamite episodes.
Kris and Bea put on one hell of a match. Those moves. You never knew where Kris was going. And that elevator promo.
Machiko and Brit,...yeah, not so much. A person who is green is being carried in a match by someone who can't even carry her own self .
Proof that Orange Cassidy can wrestle. The only man who can do amazing maneuvers and still look disinterested.
I look forward to more Dark episodes like this. If they were all like this, you could almost sustain yourself with them if you lost access to Dynamite.

OC being displayed as a man not to be trifled with is awesome. I love how they had PAC hesitate on their second collision to show he was now aware this man is not at afraid of him and also dangerous.

I love the psychology of Orange flipping his switch and just going the second someone tries to take advantage of his goofy offense. It makes him make so much sense, that he acts like he does by choice and that he has the skill to get away with it.

PAC and TH2 was a great trio. Wouldn’t mind seeing more of them. Yeah, as I recall TH2 teamed with Kip Sabian before and I dug that combo, but if Kip ends up teaming with Spears as another client for Tully, then I have no problem with our two favorite neon green miscreants teaming with our favorite Geordie misanthrope.
