Santana Garrett, Camreon Grimes, and Travis Banks all had star making nights, and it's not like a lot of people didn't know who they were before.
AEW and NX both delivered tonight with some amazing matches

I’d have liked for Baszler’s reign to have ended on a Takeover, but it was an ideal match to change the title on. You can tell they’re really focused on making Ripley a star, and she certainly came off like one at the end of this show. Cole/Finn and Priest/Dain were fun as well.

I saw this thread title and—
For me, a good episode of weekly wrestling television advances storylines and characters. The opening bout and the main event were fantastic. In between those, in my opinion, there should have been more promos and segments.
I guess I’m a bit conventional in that sense: long matches should be for PPV, storylines should be for TV.
The episode was very solid, as almost all of NXT’s episodes on USA have been, but if we’re getting those kinds of back and forth epics on TV every other week… it kind of gets redundant.

I'm not sure I like KUSHIDA losing to Grimy Cams, but other than that...

I'm not sure I like KUSHIDA losing to Grimy Cams, but other than that... It is a much needed win for Grimes. KUSHIDA is the Rey Mysterio of NXT, he can bounce back and be fine but this really shows how dangerous Grimes is Someone got over

Shayna losing was great like busting a nut after 4 days on family vacation great This is ridiculously accurate. And relatable.

I thought the match with Shayna vs. Rhea was great and the ending image with the fans carrying her on their shoulders was an awesome visual and should be in a video package to hype up NXT, IMO.

Just caught the show and yeah it was on par with some of the Takeover specials.
Kudos to everyone on the show they worked their butts off and NXT fully deserved their ratings win for this week.

I can’t get over how consistently good NXT is. In a world where even a decent RAW is so few and far between its nearly a cause for celebration, the “worst” NXT TV has been around a solid 7. Wild that it’s the same company... and it gives me hope that somehow someway down the line the other shows can eventually adapt and catch up.

It feels good to watch stuff and see it make sense. For as much as people want to say NXT hotshot stuff, every match on Wed served a purpose and and had story - Finn set his sight on NXT title when he came back and the feud with him and Gargano is back and running - Priest vs Dane have been feuding with Pete Dunne for the last 6 weeks and this was the blow off match we didn't get two weeks ago - KUSHIDA vs Grimes was a match built up two weeks ago in Kushida return match and Grimes attack him - Dunne vs Banks was to set up Worlds Collide which they been touting for since after War Games - Shayna vs Rhea has been in motion since right before TV even started for NXT

I cannot understand why they insist on booking RAW and SD like they do and seemingly not take notes on why NXT has been so good recently.

Just waiting for nxt to go on the road. I get full sail is free. So production for the show is extremely affordable.
But man let me see these guys rock in front of at least crowds of 2500 to 5000 weekly.
