I have no faith in WWE putting the title on Io. Every time I think they’re about to put a title on someone it doesn’t happen.

She really doesn't need it at the moment and it didn't make sense to put it on her now The heel turn gave her new life and turned her into a star but she did still lose to Shayna twice and while popular she is also a heel. HHH and NXT have moved smart and plant seeds of things happening unlike with Vince He's kept Rhea and Io apart as they haven't had a singles match yet. The showdown is coming. Will she win the title? Possibly but HHH has earned the benefit of doubt

That was the best damn television match that WWE has had this year. It was just perfect. You had great in ring work, storytelling, psychology, and drama. Drama is key, and look at the spots, the biggest moves they did were Rhea's flipping cannonball off the apron, and the Avalanche Riptide. A lot of that match was just basic moves, but that's really all you need when you've got the story and drama. You do it right, and it's a rollercoaster of emotion, such as when Rhea couldn't get out of the choke and you thought Shayna would win, to the elation when she grabbed the ref's shirt. Now the guessing game of where the NXT womens division goes now. Io is the end game for Rhea So who fills out the time between now and then....Dakota I guess but I assume she will be tangled with Teagan I guess they can go with Bianca because Io wont be till mania TakeOver and Bianca gave Rhea IMO her best match in NXT so far I thought weeks ago. I think we'll see Rhea give Candice a shot. They've still got their alliance, and Rhea will say she deserves it after War Games. Face vs face, friend vs friend, where Rhea wins and shakes Candice's hand.

I could see Rhea vs. Dakota in Portland, Dakota's about to cheat to win when Tegan makes the save to even it up, so you then have two big women's matches in Tampa, Rhea vs. Io and Tegan vs. Dakota.

When wrestling is good, there are few art forms that come close.
He crowd just exploding when Rhea broke out of the Clutch was unreal. The hottest I’ve seen since Bryan turning against Bray in the cage.
I can’t believe a 23 year old from my home town had such a moment like that, and that she is one of the single hottest acts on my favourite ever art form.
And all the credit in the world to Shayna, it’s scary how good she really is.

Its textbook wrestling for building up a heel, then making a babyface when they beat the heel. Couldn't think of a better way to end the year for NXT. Its remarkable how NXT is usually the only WWE show that knows how to send its audience home happy.

Big fan of Rhea, she deserves it.
Just not a fan of the "Whole roster comes out to cheer person they have no relation to" except by the very rare story

Just can’t do it anymore after 31 years of watching. Wish I didn’t feel that way, but I do.

I have complete belief Io is winning the title during TakeOver at Mania and getting a 4-6 month reign.
But also would not surprise me either if they didn't for whatever reason but what a f***ing catastrophic mistake it would be to have the best womens wrestler in the world on your roster and never giving her a run with a title.

Essentially implies she is done in NXT Yeah. NXT often has the former champ do a short retaliation feud and a TV rematch. That's enough to keep Shayna visible throughout Jan and then she can enter into the Rumble.

There won't be a new NXT until January 8 and the Rumble is on the 26th. I can see them just going right into Rhea vs Dakota. Maybe have Becky talk some smack about Shayna's loss on Raw to set up Shayna being in the Rumble. I can see her entering within the first 10 and winning.
