5 years ago I would salivated at it.
Now? I'll pass. Besides, how do you book yourself out of it? Neither guy is gonna get booed, and nobody wants to see Sting OR Taker lose.

Taker himself as taken the shine off that match due to his bad outings. If they would have did it when Sting came, the atmosphere around it would have been crazy even if the match itself would been average m
Sting himself deserves blame for this too. He should came to WWE 3 years earlier and he would got that match

F*** it, just do it and have it be Taker's last match. Doesn't even have to be good, just do a couple spots to pop the crowd. Keep it simple and no longer than 5-6 minutes and it'd be fine.

The older broken down versions of these two isn’t what I want to watch. If they did do it, let them “play the hits” for 5 min or so and have Fiend lay them both out.

Even if it's 15 years too late, I'd enjoy the spectacle, but after the bell rings, nothing after.

It would have to go on first so neither one would miss the Early Bird Special.

I have no desire to see two guys near their 60’s wrestle each other.

I still think it will headline one of the next Crown Jewel shows. This is my number one dream match and I think under the right circumstances it could be good. Hell make it a casket match to hide some of their flaws.
Really just throw a in bunch of bells and whistles, lights going out, fake lightning, smoke, vultures, baseball bats, let them hit their key moves, in don’t let either of them try anything dangerous or dumb and not over ten minutes. Then have the Fiend come out and destroy them both.

I still can't believe they didn't do this when Sting first got to WWE.

I still can't believe they didn't do this when Sting first got to WWE. And building him vs HHH as a dream match at that Just a bad year and bad timing. Taker wanting to get back "right" after getting his bell rung at Mania most likely played a big factor

Drives me bonkers they didn't do it when they had the chance.

Have it be a thumb wrestling match backstage with no cameras where nobody sees anything and I'd be fine with that.

Much like Angle/Bryan, that ship sank a long time ago.

I was one of the fans who wanted this badly when Sting first joined the company, thinking that the drama and theatrics would be more than enough to cover for both guys being well past their prime, but at this point I think it's just been too long.
Also, it'd be the ultimate corrupt-a-wish if it ended up happening on one of the Saudi shows.

I have no desire to see this. Ship has sailed.

Much like Angle/Bryan, that ship sank a long time ago. I'm still pissed they did not even try to make the match during Kurt Angle's farewell week. Instead, they chose things like five minute match against Styles with screwy finish. At least we have the Greatest Rumble face-off...

I assume the Saudi prince is on the phone to Vince booking this match as we speak.
