Because the 49ers are totally gonna master the Rams in their showdown this Saturday night.
No more challenging Thursday games this season, as now NFL gets to do the Saturdays for this week & the upcoming playoffs. Some big time games this week will be vital in deciding playoff positioning and maybe even who plays in Super Bowl 54.
As well as some nice Tank Bowls... they'll decide who plays in Super Bowl 59, perhaps.

Today's game against the Bills one of the most important late December games the Patriots have played in some time. I can't remember the last time the Division was still up for grabs this late into the season. It's going to be a slugfest for sure. Buffalo's defense is legit.
But even more important than the Division is playoff seeding. If the Pats lose and the Chiefs win the Pats fall to the 3rd seed. And throughout the Belichick/Brady era the Pats have never gone to the Super Bowl when they had to play on Wildcard Weekend. And the Pats really need that 1st round bye now more than ever. Sanu's hurt, Brady's elbow is troubling him and Edelman is being held together by chewing gum and prayers at this point. They desperately need a chance to rest.
However if the Pats win and Chicago was somehow able to upset KC that would be HUGE! It would lock up the 2nd seed for the Pats and allow them to rest some players in week 17 against Miami.
