These commentators are much higher on the Niners than I currently am.

What a game! Huge win for the Pats! They got the AFC East and are holding on to the 2nd seed.
Furthermore that was the best the offense looked in a month. And against a legit defense too. Pats got contributions from a lot of people today. Guys like N'Keal Harry, Jakobi Meyers, Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead all came up big when thet needed it. The defense had some trouble but made the plays when it counted. And Julian Edelman has to be the toughest SOB in football!
A lot of credit to the Bills. They have a great defense, a solid running game and a lot of confidence. Bills Mafia is right to be excited by this team. They're going to be a tough challenge for any team that plays them.
Hopefully, Chicago finds a way to upset the Chiefs tommorrow so the Pats can rest on week 17. But at least the Pats still control their own destiny. And they may not be done yet!

We suck again.
8-0 spoiled everyone. The Niners are simply a good team. Nowhere near great.

As I predicted, last week was the exposure of the 49ers

Not even mad because I fully expected this. Their effort against Atlanta last week spoke volumes about how good the Niners actually are.

Hope this won't piss off Bills Mafia
I think Buffalo is going to be like Jacksonville and Chicago, in that they get in purely on the defense and because of that, they think they have the QB of the future. But then next year, that team falls apart as the QB is not the right guy.
Josh Allen has had the same issues today that he has had in his first pre-season game against Carolina in that he overthrows the ball badly. In that game against the Pats, there was a guy wide open in the end zone and that TD would have tied the game, but wouldn't you know it, he overthrows it.

Patriots win the division and Room Temperature, remember what I said a few days ago. Stripping them of wins is unreasonable Why? First off, not only has that never been done, but the logistics of it is a freaking nightmare. There isn't anything in the league rules to do so, as far as I know, so you cannot retroactively do so after establishing such rules. Second, Vegas would go absolutely lawsuit crazy if wins that they paid out bets over were reversed. In fact, I bet it is actually in violation of some contract that the NFL has to do so for that very reason. It's much better to do something to gut the team completely if necessary as punishment afterwards than to retroactively punish them.

I agree, and they'll likely be bounced in the first round of the playoffs this year. Allen isnt good, the Defense is terrific but not game breaking. I think the Jacksonville comparison is pretty apt.

I sincerely hope that Allen takes the next step and gets some help on the outside in the coming years. The Bills would be on the verge of great things if they could get some offensive consistency.
The Niners seriously can’t afford to have Jimmy G suck this close to playoff time. The Rams are essentially done and SF is struggling.

The QB pressures are long gone, and JimmyG isn’t consistently good enough to win by himself.

Lol Niners
If their pass rush doesn’t remember how to play, they’re losing to Seattle next week (hell, they’d lose even if the D was in prime position) then lose in round 1. They’re a very flawed team right now who appear to have peaked early.

Welp, not one of the three teams I wanted to win today did so.
No offense to fans of either the 49ers or the Texans (well, a little to the Texans fans since they are in my team's division), but I wanted the Rams and Bucs to win to ensure that they would definitely have a later draft pick than the Colts. That still can happen, but winning today would have helped.
As far as the Patriots winning, I would be a little tired of it even if they did not have a history of getting caught cheating.

Chad Kelly is inactive.
Why won't the Colts just give him a chance? Jacoby has proved he's not capable.
...and I have to see 163 year Dick Stockton today.
