Taz is doing a good job but I don’t like him replacing Tony halfway through Dynamite. He already does Dark They are totally rotating the wrong person out, but I'm guessing JR and Taz want to work with each other. Maybe they want Tony to be more like Mean Gene was in WCW.

I really like how the AEW crowds are co-operative with the show. They don't dump on gimmicks or bring up the past identities of talent because they're angry at something else, or just bored. If Butcher, Blade and bunny debuted on WWE TV, they would have been met with Braxton Sutter chants, or people would sing Moon River at Andy Williams once word spread what his real name is. Shows the difference that actually listening to your audience makes, the people there are enjoying it.

If they ever bring the intro back, they’re gonna have to update it to include shots of Moxley with the title to replace the Jericho shots.

If Syn Sophia are developing the AEW game, they should include a spiritual successor to AKI Man...
Syn Cara.

OK, Excalibur's line of "Nobody kicks out of the Falcon Arrow!" - is this just a dumb thing he said that he decided to make into a joke, or is this a reference that I am missing? Given that the Falcon Arrow has been a mid-match move since like 2002 at minimum.

The BTE after All In's behind the scenes episode, once the countdown began, they are at a show in Las Vegas. They mention having a month left on their New Japan deals.
Cody mentions they have an hour to kill, so he'll go gamble, "Double or nothing."

Why was I surprised to learn that Orange Cassidy is American, not Canadian?

The BTEs have some neat foreshadowing when it comes to certain AEW things, like Full Gear getting its name from Hangman Page’s habit of wearing his full gear.

I ironically love how TNA the Inner Circle's theme is.

On a Q&A from late 2017, it's really interesting seeing the Elite talking about various things, and they are asked to describe each other in one word. Cody describes both Bucks as "Executive", due to how they take charge on things, and dubs Hangman "Future".
Kenny dubs Page "Hung".

Another Q&A from that same year, some of the Elite were asked what they'd do if they weren't wrestling.
Matt said he'd probably own a coffee shop.
I guess I thought the whole "Matt Jackson, barrista" gag was because of Tony Schiavone, but seemingly not so.

Given that the Falcon Arrow has been a mid-match move since like 2002 at minimum. The Falcon Arrow (the "nobody kicks out of the falcon arrow" joke is a shortened for of a longer line "HE DID THE DEAL. Nobody kicks out of the falcon arrow") rose to prominence in PWG due to a Chris Hero shoot where he tells a story about someone telling a story and miming a lewd action with the phrase "we did the deal" only the miming looked like a visual short hand for a falcon arrow. This joke was basically run into the ground in PWG by Excalibur and Chuck Taylor (in earlier AEW and New Japan matches with both involved in the broadcast you can see both of them doing the gag which is how it escaped PWG containment) riffing on the fact that the falcon arrow is always a transition move rather than the end. Only now it has grown and is just a thing Excalibur says when the Falcon Arrow gets hit by anyone in any context, keeping the idea of that nobody kick(kick out)ing out of the falcon arrow.

I like it because it works even if you don't get it's a joke, since it's the kind of thing commentators have been saying forever, a "he's got 'im, 1-2-OH NO HE KICKED OUT!" kind of thing. Been watching old Q&A videos, and it's sweet seeing the Elite gush about guys they'd someday be able to give jobs or opportunities that they'd have, like saying how it's criminal that Jack Evans or Chuck Taylor weren't contracted anywhere, or Adam Cole lamenting he'd been wanting a one on one match with Tommy End (Aleister Black) but hadn't managed it yet, or even kind of funny things like that they'd met Cody Rhodes and got along with him right away, or how that Marty Scurll guy was quite good, way before they could have known what dear friends they'd become.
