I Same, plus he's in tremendous shape! Definitely a premier athlete. I had known his name but never seen him before he came to AEW, was instantly a fan. Had a similar feeling when seeing another Tony, Tony Deppen, for the first time on Dark recently.

I first saw him live in like 2014 with Premier Athlete Brand with I think Trent Beretta and Caleb Konley. He was one of the indie guys who had the whole package to me — workrate/in-ring ability, some charisma and was working a good character. Handled correctly I think he could make it to the main event scene.

Sterling has helped Nese improve as a character, their chemistry is slowly getting better.

Dude is a very good wrestler and has a great look, but just lacks the It Factor and a character beyond "Really Good Athlete".

I haven’t watched any wrestling in a month or so. I enjoyed the Best Friends a lot. From what I gather, Yuta left, Stat left, Danhausen left, and Orange is hurt. Is all that right?
I like them as a tag or trio, but I was digging the bigger stable too

But yeah, Danhausen is courting Hook as a friend/partner, and Yuta's hanging out with Moxley and Bryan.

It would seem the Bucks slow turn to tween and their tension with Adam Cole and ReDragon has been shelved

Dave Meltzer seems to think the Owen Hart tournament is going to end with Adam Cole and Britt Baker as the winners.
Which would make me laugh because it would mean that the inaugural tournament named after a Hart would be won by….one of Shawn Michaels’ most prominent mentees.

Which would make me laugh because it would mean that the inaugural tournament named after a Hart would be won by….one of Shawn Michaels’ most prominent mentees. Both of those would be really disappointing if true. I’m still an Adam Cole fan but he’s not exactly lacking in either the win-loss record or TV time, and this tournament could (should, IMO) be used to give a rub to someone new. And the less said about Britt these days the better. Of the wrestlers still in it, I’d want Kyle O’Reilly and Toni Storm to win their respective tournaments. KOR because having a Canadian technical wrestler win a tourney dedicated to Owen Hart is very appropriate, and Storm it would (hopefully) solidify her as a big deal in the division.
