Let him go. He’ll just take other promotions’ money and then never show up. What’s the harm?

I'd be really cool to see him with the rest of the Horsemen in AEW ---- but realisitcally at this point with all his alimony payments/wasteful spending in his prime I'll be really surprised if he doesn't jump at which company offers him more money

Doesn't Flair own the Horsemen trademark?

Nah, let’s send Flair to Impact. It’s different from his last time around. And if things aren’t different we get Flair wearing that blouse again and whatever that thing with his tongue was

I like how it said he invited Tony Khan to his last wedding.
Latest wedding might be more appropriate.

Dude dig his own grave. If WWE wants to pay him something to not show up elsewhere that’s fine. Any other company would be profoundly stupid to employ him.

Doesn't Flair own the Horsemen trademark? I believe Conrad does, hence why PWTees is able to print Horsemen merch. On a related note, PWTees is pulling all their existing Ric Flair Merch next month, which makes me wonder if it’s related to Ric’s contract status.

I believe it was mentioned that Ric's PWTees merch was pulled because he is looking to make deals with other companies to distribute his merch now.

It will be quite a sight to see Flair, Anderson, and Blanchard appear in AEW.

I got the impression with all the debt he has, he was like a modern day indentured servant or something.

If he isn't going to have a backstage role which if he were interested in that kinda thing he would have taken one, I see no place in AEW really.
I get Cody loves old WCW stuff as it was a huge part of childhood but Ric's time as regular contributing performer has passed.
For all involved WWE is the best place for him. Let the corporate WWE machine take care of him.

I don't know if Cody can resist his old school roots and not sign Flair
Like Jeff, WWE is probably the best place for Flair where you can just stash him and pay him and try to keep him out of trouble. Flair chases that dollar tho and i'm guessing if Arn endorses him to Cody then Flair will be in

As long as Charlotte is in WWE I don't see Ric Flair leaving.

Get ready for Horsemen in AEW. "What's the Clip Clop Patron doing in the Impact Zone?!" *sigh* .....I mean, I guess this was gonna be abandoned someday.....

I'm just amazed how much hatred towards Flair there is in this thread. He's not a saint, granted, but he isn't pure evil, either.

I’ll forever be a fan of Ric Flair. Has he done some shady shit? Of course. Has he done anything worse than ANY other wrestler from that generation? Not even close. Sure he was a hardcore drinker (and still might be) and has a bad reputation with his financial situations and ex wives but he’s never done anything as bad as some who get praised. If there was social media in the 80s all these guys would be blackballed if wrestling even still existed today.
That being said, I’d mark for a mini Horsemen reunio in AEW. Don’t care to see any of them wrestle ever again but segments and promos leading up to maybe a triple threat match between some AEW stars with a Horseman in each of their corners could be cool.

As long as Charlotte is in WWE I don't see Ric Flair leaving. I might be overreaching here, but do we know how much longer Charlotte's contract runs? Between Ric's coming up and Charlotte filing that trademark a few weeks back, is it possible AEW might have lured them away?
