There's a joke about how NY/NJ means NJ. I think the only time anything NJ/NY took place in NY was Summerslam because they closed the Izod center and went to yhe Barclay's Center Pretty much everything for Mania 35 weekend save Mania itself was in NY. It was actually kind of insane how many shows were sprinkled throughout North Jersey, too; I know I got down to Rahway for the Impact show as well as all the Jersey City GCW shows at White Eagle Hall...but then I’d look how many shows were in Queens and Brooklyn, not even counting the Wrestlecon stuff in midtown, and it was hard to fathom how much could be going on. And as for the announcement being on Christmas, I don’t put that on Cody, that’s people attaching their own hopes to an innocuous teaser. Still, in the future maybe they should just tease future locations than leaving it open ended and creating an inevitable “NJPW partnership about to begin!” fan dream-fest.

AEW doing a show in Canada would be huge for me, personally. Where do you think they'd go? ROH ran Maple Leaf Gardens in the summer and TNA have done that Rebel complex. A quick look says the capacity for both is in the 4,000 region. AEW have been running like 10,000 seater buildings, right? The Air Canada seems a bit too big though.
