Title is self-explanatory. How old is the computer you're using right now?

Current one, I bought about 6-7 months ago. My 4 computers before this one have been laptops, but I've had mixed results with those, so this time I splurged on a high quality desktop. (At least I got good financing by opening a Best Buy card at the same time.) So, hope this one lasts a while, since I'm in no mood to buy another computer any time soon.

I think I got this laptop back in May. Got a 11 year old desktop that is still running. A 3 year old laptop still running. And a 5 year old laptop I need to reinstall windows on.

I have a MacBook Air that’s maybe four years old.
Still works like a charm. Absolutely love it.

My laptop is about four years old. It's picked up a quirk where it will not automatically reconnect to the WiFi if the connection drops, and sometimes won't even manually reconnect until it's been rebooted, but otherwise still works brilliantly.

I bought my Mac in early 2015 but I think it’s a late 2013 model. It still runs really well, which is why I prefer macs to pc’s. The latest OS gave it some problems but I think that may have been bugs in the launch of the OS

Uh... well, technically, it's about 12 years old. But the insides - the hard drive, graphics card, and etc - are 8 years old.
I really need a new one, but life keeps going "nah, screw you" on saving up money for it.

My current desktop is around 6 years old. I should replace it but I never seem to get around to it. It technically still works but little by little a lot of programs wont work if I update them(like firefox). And my video editing would definitely benefit from getting a new desktop.

Old enough to know better.
Still to young to care.

As I work from home I use one PC that's a 5 year old Dell Precision T1700 which still works brilliantly
Outside of work I use a Laptop which I've had for since July. A tip for anyone who's PC has hard disk drive and is 3 years old or more would be to look into replacing it with a solid state drive which will prolong it's life.

My laptop is a 2009 ASUS that I dropped an SSD and Windows 10 onto. Still usable, but it is mostly just in storage. It has a discrete graphics card, so that really extended the life of it as far as games go.
I built a gaming PC just about 3 years ago. Went all out - i7 6700k, 980ti. 32 inch 1440p monitor. I haven't played more than like 2 hours of games on it. Really enjoyed building it, but I guess I'm just more of a console guy and sitting at a desk to play just didn't suit me.
My wife has a Dell XPS13 that we bought last year for her job. Incredibly light.
Primary day to day computer is actually my iPhone 7, plus my computer at work which is a standard, up-to-date small workstation PC.

On an iPhone 6S I bought in 2016 right now. Going to trade it in for an iPhone 11 pretty soon though.
Other than that I have two laptops. I can’t remember when exactly I got them. I think one I either got early this year or late last year. The other one I got maybe around 2015 or so. I also have a desktop from 2010 that shit the bed on me a few years ago. I had it fixed but still haven’t gotten around to setting it up since I have limited space in my apartment. I either have or had a netbook as well but have no idea where it is and haven’t used it in years. It was pretty cheap/crappy anyway.

The case is about 11 years old but the last major rebuild(motherboard, cpu, ram) happened in 2017. So 2.5 years.

My laptop is nearly five years old. It's a Macbook and works just as well as the day I bought it.

My MacBook is seven years old, but I mostly use my iPad Air (five years old) or my iPhone 11 Pro which I bought two weeks ago. I’m typing this message on my iPhone.
I haven’t had a desktop computer since college.

About seven years old. Not sure the exact date, but giving it a glance the oldest files are 7 years old. It's just a laptop, so no changes in hardware since the day I got it. I do kinda want to try to more recent games... well, some of them. But, it can play Civ 4, FTL, and a lot of other games I like that aren't demanding on laptop performance, so I don't really get a big urge to try more recent stuff.
But maybe in a year or two, I might consider getting a more suitable PC that'll allow me to play Dwarf Fortress without restricting game things for it to function properly.
