I thought you'd already hit bottom on being a shitty human being, Bray. Stop digging.

No no, we all know with Christian it's usually the other way around. Goddamn I did not expect this thread to deliver this much gold this many times in a row. Who are you to doubt us?

So...let me get this straight. Bray's Summerslam opponent had to take time off this year (very quietly, I might add) because his father had to undergo triple-bypass surgery _as well as_ himself get married, and gets buried to the point where he had to be relegated back to NXT. Yet, Bray Wyatt can tweet like a goddamned moron in defense of sexual predators, dump his wife and kids for a ring announcer, and gets to wear the Universal f***ing title - the same title with which Finn did more in 22 hours to elevate than Bray has done during all his title reigns to elevate whatever clash of metal and leather they threw at him? If WWE collapses under its own f***ing hubris in 2020, it will absolutely deserve it. I hope Finn's bottom-line demand for his contract renewal involves eight figures and a year-long run with the WWE title. That _might_ stop me from heaping curse upon curse against WWE. I totally understand what you are getting at..... but I like at Finn being back in NXT as more of a "promotion". I care more about him now than I have in a long time!

If there's ever been a wrestler who got way too much way too soon, it's this son of IRS. If there's anyone who should be knocked down a few spots on the card, it's this son of IRS.
I get we are living in a different time for wrestling but to me the Wyatt family should have been as popular as 1997 heel Godwinns. And the Fiend strikes me as even sillier than black goop on Warrior era Papa Shango. He's benefitting from a time in wrestling that really lacks star power so he needs to be put in place.

And to be fair, Finn going to NXT was his idea. He was really unhappy on the main roster and if he didn't work out something with Triple H, he probably would've requested his release.

I totally understand what you are getting at..... but I like at Finn being back in NXT as more of a "promotion". I care more about him now than I have in a long time! I wish I could agree with you about NXT. Certainly he has plenty of reasons to want to stick around Orlando, and has more than earned a bit of rest. However, before the move it has not been Finn's year. He was built up as an opponent to Brock Lesnar at the Rumble, and more than held his own in that match and looked credibly able to slay the Beast - but Vince would not give him that triumph, didn't build him up credibly in the aftermath, and instead threw him two I-C title runs as bones thrown. Then, came FFH and the Fiend and the Summerslam feeding. Finn even wore white that last match on the main roster - the colour of saints and martyrs, a colour Vince reportedly hates. His return to NXT was no real "promotion" in the sense that a) he was the only one sent there and b) whatever talk of NXT being hyped up as the third brand died off more or less completely after Survivor Series. It was no more a promotion for Finn as Benoit's move to WWECW was for him, I don't think. It feels more like a case of Triple H doing everything in his power to protect Finn from any further burial by Vince and (stretch goal at this point) try to keep him with the company.
