Would this be better or worse?
Replace Jinder with Tiger Ali.
Who gets the job done?

Wow, I never seem to remember Tiger Ali had a two year run in WWE. Always feels like he was one or twice on screen during those years. Never seen his lil' indy runs.

Comparing Tiger Ali Singh to Jinder Mahal as though they’re some sort of equivalence to each other is an insult to Jinder Mahal. Tiger Ali Singh was “Literally may not even know the basics”-level bad. He makes Jinder Mahal look like Daniel Bryan.

You could replace any champion with Tiger Ali Singh, not just Jinder, and the reign would be made better.

If you go to his Wikipedia page he looks like Steven Seagal nowadays.

I think it tells you plenty about WWE's way of looking at talent that these two are remotely comparable.
Singh was an absolute joke, and Jinder, whatever you think of him, dwarfs Singh in every category and did even before his title push and roid build.

Jinder is done average as a performer and he's still lightyears ahead of Tiger Ali Singh.

I believe he was scheduled to win the Kuwait Cup, but he was too green in the ring and wasn't ready. So they gave it to Ahmed. Who some said was too green and wasn't ready in the ring. Irony at it's best. I wonder how he would do against the likes of Ringmaster, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Vader, Undertaker, Bulldog, Owen, Holly, Savio, Crush, there were workers during his era. I wonder if he could've kept up with them.

I'd rather crawl through a desert of sand with open wounds than see either guy with a title run

The only reference you will ever get that he existed in the WWF. Shame.

He kept on popping up for 5 minutes then disappearing.
1997 Kuwait cup Late 1998-early 1999 run with Abu and Babu Late 2000 with Lo Down
Was there even anything else?

Finally, a thread where people throw an ounce of respect on The Maharaja's name.
Jinder is leaps and bounds better.

Jinder Mahal is by no means a ring wizard out there (he is better than he's given credit for, but I digress), but he at least has the look and presence of someone who could be taken seriously.
Singh was complete ass in the ring and looked like an absolute goofball out there.

Wasn't Ali worse than his dad Jeet Singh who was trash in his own right?

Wasn't Ali worse than his dad Jeet Singh who was trash in his own right? Yes. Though at least Jeet had all the crazy hardcore stuff to rely on.
