I don't know the whole story here but apparently it was found out who ran AEW's social media (He himself apparently openly bragged about it on his main) and he was fighting with fans on Twitter until he ultimately deleted his main account on Twitter
This is kinda weird, I don't know the full story here just seeing the tweets unfold, don't know how bad he was making himself look, but it's definitely not the best look when Young Bucks just left Twitter a few days ago. Looks like AEW's socials are still posting as normal but those could be scheduled tweets, I really don't know what to make of any of it.

Winning a Twitter fight is like winning a "who showers less" contest. Are you really a winner?

But someone savvy to run your online presence does seem crucial these days. The WWEFOX and Wendy’s accounts come to mind. Good lord does Twitter seem awful though.

Bragging about what a formidable twitter tough guy you are is one of the most embarrassing things I've seen in a good while. Yeesh.

Yeah, remember how I used to defend wrestling fans on social media? I wanna roll all of that back now.

It seems that Jeff was longer in charge of social media and was replaced with that guy..., it reminds me of that time Josh Matthews was arguing with fans in 2015.

Wrestle Twitter is absolute garbage. Just a bunch of nobodies trying to gain clout by harassing people.

Prolly for the best. Though sure he couldn't be more embarrasing than that Twitter tough guy acting all Cassius Clay after a f***ing keyboard fight.

On one hand, you’d think a company run exclusively by people in their 20s and 30s would have the best social media game.
On the other hand, the Young Bucks have the right idea to get off Twitter and let someone else do it.

so who is this guy? Another friend of the Elite with no relevant experience at a major promotion?
That said, screw the fans who went after him on his personal account. I've said it before and I've said it again, I have no sympathy at all for people who pick fights with celebrities on the internet. Having a degree of fame doesn't mean they're not human.

*sigh* I understand that everyone in this thread is responding to the situation out of context, but Maxwell's "internet tough guy" tweets are 100% tongue-in-cheek repsonses to rile up the asshole social media guy and AEW fans that jumped in HIS mentions. Just to give everyone more context of what went down (since I've been following Maxwell and saw all of this happen from the jump):
He made this simple criticism (that is pretty fair considering the shit their social media guy has gotten into before)
Literally, all that followed after this was people jumping down his throat, calling him a WWE fanboy, and the AEW social media dude himself making personal attacks toward Maxwell (before deleting his account). NOBODY sought out his personal account in this situation. He personally went at Maxwell for daring to criticize him and then deleted his account after he realized he was in the wrong.
Tweets like the ones in the OP and the one below were made as jokes:
I didn't mean to write an essay on this, but if anyone knows that Maxwell is a geek, it's Maxwell. He's one of the nicest guys in the wrestling business that I've ever run into and I can't let the narrative that he harassed anybody start running when that's not what happened. lol
