I'm talking about signature arm/hand movements that wrestlers use primarily in their entrance or in their matches in an effort to get over with the crowd. When the crowd finds themselves mimicking those same arm/hand movements, they unconsciously find themselves more fully invested in the character later on.
These gestures are a part of a wrestler's overall brand, just as color scheme, logo, catchphrase, etc.
Very good/Best:
Daniel Bryan "Yes" Matt Hardy: Delete Fallah Bahh/Akira Tozawa chants (I just love this crazy stuff in the midcard!) Diamond Dallas Page Self High Five + two-hand Diamond Barry Horowitz Pat On The Back Orange Cassidy
Middle:
TJ Perkins entrance pose Mark Andrews windshield wiper arm movement (not sure about this one)
Worst:
Bronson Reed's extended claw looking like System Of A Down S/T album. The worst of the list. Like what? It is weird. It is completely strange to see the crowd reluctantly/awkwardly doing this. This may effect his career. Angelo Dawkins mixing Pizza Dough B-Team Go Go Go (manufactured/forced/piped in)

No Orton pose? Jesus Jericho?
I am particular to the heel hbk thing where he just struts to the ring with one arm up in the air

What about that weird hand pose DH Smith still tries to make a thing?

Finn’s pre-heel entrance with arms extended forward with the back of the hands facing each other never felt right to me.
Dawkins stirring the pot is A-tier, BTW.
Ciampa’s clap and back-pat is great.

Dean Malenko's wrist tape check as he walked was always a favorite of mine.

Worst Giant Gonzales arms in the air monster pose Colonel Mustafa marching arms Arn Anderson's overutilized four horsemen hand gesture. Zodiak hand in the air while he held the elbow Berzerker grabbing one arm with his hand

Fourtune's hand sign aka the Shocker is by far the worst.

That crap Miz used to do when he started out in 07 when he had the faux-hawk, couldn't stand him at that point.

Hand gesture...even though I am not a fan of the almost parody spamming version he has become in AEW

Worst: Especially when he'd come out to his generic ass theme song with his plain black shirt and do it.

Worst: Especially when he'd come out to his generic ass theme song with his plain black shirt and do it. Turns into an ironic “best” when the camera catches him blocking out his titantron and it says “Big Ass” because of it.

I liked the Dudley Boys "3D" gesture. Makes sense, three fingers up, and forming a sign language "d."
I don't know what the hell Cena's version meant. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect?

Granted, he didn’t invent flipping people off, but Steve Austin and the one-finger salute is as much a part of him as the Stunner is.

We need more Macho Man twirling his arm in the air while wagging his finger today.
Kurt Angle's one-footed spinning twirl with arms in the air after entering the ring was great, too.
(Those poses were harder to describe than one might imagine.)
On the flipside, Jake Roberts' "lasso 'em" hand motion to signal the DDT made no sense. There was no spinning around, only a drop.
