Just had a random thought. If Sidney Bakabella is managing Dasher Hatfield now then how long was that in the works? Sidney suddenly resigned as DOF at the end of last season after months of putting over Dasher. Will they make the inference that Sidney wiped all the points and Golden Opportunities off the board to ensure that his client wouldn't have any challengers?

They don't overtly have to, as that and the very existence of the Sword of Damocles more than implies that something was rotten in the state of Denmark.

Cibernetico's been postponed. Doubt it'll be the only rescheduled event. I don't see the next one happening either.

Just watched the Young Lions Cup and whoa lord it was brutal. Some of these rookies are very much not good. Spoiler is especially awful. Wells is bad to the point that he's uncomfortable to watch. Mobius isn't as bad as them, but he's kinda nothing. On the flip side, Zero's actually okay (he seems super strong, so he can safely do a bunch of lifts and slams). McCoy's fine and will improve. Faraday will probably become good eventually. Boomer's kinda great.
Also seriously plz give up on the colony. Green Ant is nothing, and Thief Ant never does the gimmick that should be his saving grace. It's amazing to me that they DO have interesting stories (Dasher as champ has been absolutely fantastic the entire way through) and still most of the shows are throwing out people like Green Ant to wrestle for nothing.

I don't think Green Ant is nothing, but I do agree that none of the talent are really being used correctly. It just seems like haphazard booking to me, but for the time being I'm going to let up on Chikara. I've been pretty critical recently, but the last thing I want is for them to go out of business, and the current state of affairs in the world could result in that very thing. Here's hoping things turn around in every way.

Today was the first episode of Chikara's Action Arcade.
They opened with a shot of Donna Rama arriving at the Wrestle Factory for her first day. She's met at the door by Lucas Calhoun who has been assigned to show her around.
The first match was The Bird & The Bee vs. The Colony from the last show with new overdubbed commentary from Quackenbush and Bakabella. They even overdubbed new ring announcing. There was also some backstage footage of The Bird & The Bee talking to a production assistant Abby Rose with a clipboard.
They cut to the back where Donna and Lucas are watching the match on a monitor. Donna asks if they are the women's tag team champions and Lucas explains "Equal rights, equal fights" and that there has been no divisions by weight or gender in over 15 years.
Second match is The Spoiler over Chuck West. Not sure when this was taped.
Promo airs for the YLC. I guess they're gonna be highlighting some of those matches over the next few weeks.
Then we go to the Event Center hosted by Samantha Leterna and promos from Molly McCoy, Forged, Frey Nassar, and Zero.
Third match is a reshowing of Boomer vs. Travis from the YLC with new commentary. Same backstage shots of Boomer with Abby Rose before and after the match. Boomer says something that I can't make out before signing the clipboard and getting handed his first point.
Quick cut to Donna Rama asking Lucas how she can "get one of those." Lucas explains the points system in Chikara.
Promo for the actual Chikara Action Arcade game follows.
Quick promo for "LIKABRO" featuring Willow Nightengale shaking up some kind of drink which annoys Icarus and Sonny DeFarge while they're working out. Slogan was "LIKAPRO: YOU'VE GOTTA WANT THE WANTING IT"
Promo airs highlighting results from King of Trios 2019.
Back to Donna and Lucas. They're watching the ring crew take down the ropes. Donna asks what they're doing and Lucas says "pray that your debut isn't in one of these fights" and explains Crucible Rules.
Video airs of Mike Quackenbush talking about one of his classes on defense.
Crucible Match with Devantes destroying Tom Stone (probably a dark match from YLC)
Chikara Event Center on the Cibernetico
Samantha Leterna interviews Matt Makowski prior to the main event
Main Event: Matt Makowski over Jigsaw (from NPWD with new commentary)
Credits Roll.
"With Love to: Gorilla & The Brain"
"Everyone worked really hard to make this. Please don't steal it. There is no honor among thieves in the first place. He put hard times on Dusty Rhodes and his family. You don't know what hard times are, daddy! Hard times are when the textile workers around this country are out of work and got four, five kids, and can't pay their wages, can't buy their food. Hard times are when the auto workers are out of work and they tell them "Go home!" And hard times are when a man has worked at a job thirty years thirty years! They give him a watch, kick him in the butt and say "Hey, a computer took your place, daddy!" That's hard times! That's hard times."
Very quick Red Queen and One-Eyed Jack teaser shows in the post-credits.

So this is something that should've come out on more official channels (and during the episode premiere) instead of being mentioned on the (unofficial) 101 Discord the day after then promptly argued over, but here we go.
AA #1 is being considered the "premiere" of Season 21. There'll be point standings on next week's episode that'll reflect that. This is apparently something that was in the works for a while, not something caused by the coronavirus reschedulings. Additionally, though the why wasn't explained, not everything previously recorded on the past three events might make it to air. Point standings kept previous to the premiere will need to be thrown out, as I doubt they'll be completely correct.
Speaking of the coronavirus reschedulings, tentative dates for the next three events are May 23rd, June 13th, and July 11th.

I absolutely love Solo Darling. My favorite babyface in wrestling.
If I buy a Chikaratopia subscription, is that pretty much all I need to stay up to date on current Chikara?

You could also get an IWTV subscription. Chikara doesn't always stream there, but pretty much everything that goes on Chikaratopia winds up on IWTV eventually, plus they have all the existing backlog of shows. On top of all that, you're getting access to dozens of other promotions, all for about the same price as Chikaratopia.

I liked how they emphasised neck bridging on Huckabee's Wrestle Factory segment, and then that's what helped him win the main event.
