Other
2018, Dolph Ziggler
He “quit” like 2 weeks before and makes a triumphant return in the 30th spot to the Philadelphia crowd laughing when he comes out. He lasted about a minute before being quickly dumped.

A.J. was definitely the biggest overall, but I darn near EXPLODED when Kharma's music hit. And oh my gosh, the look on Michael Cole's face! Awesome!

Edge wasn’t nearly as much of a surprise in 2010 as Cena was in 2008. A lot of us called it, and think oddsmakers had him as one of the top 3 favorites.

You forgot about The Boogeyman in 2015. It was worth it for the Bray and Boogeyman interaction even though it could have been a bit better but still it was a nice surprise.

Honestly? Either AJ or Nia Jax because the intergender stuff was the only time I have given a f*** about Nia.

Sumo Guy at GRR But in all seriousness though, seeing AJ Styles in a WWE ring at the time was incredibly surreal..So yeah, he gets my vote.

2012 the roster must have been paper thin to have 7 guest entrants... Actually, that year had almost entirely surprise entrants. I know they announced Sheamus, Jericho, and Miz, but after that I think literally every other spot was up for grabs.

For me AJ Styles was cool but I had only sporadically checked out TNA so it wasn't the huge moment for me that it was for a lot of people. Kharma seemed like it was going to be a big deal, it's too bad things went south there.
One of the biggest markout moments for me though was DDP. I was a huge fan of the People's Champion DDP and I had no clue that he was showing up.

AJ was the best overall, but Diesel made me mark out the most.

What, you mean Kenny Omega didn't debut at the Royal Rumble after all?

Kevin Nash in 2011. I had no idea beforehand so it was a legit surprise. I marked out as much as Striker did!

what annoys me the most about this... is the fact that they clearly had the angles for great shots... and someone (I'm assuming Dunn as he is the director) decided... nah just focus on Roman's face the entire time. I honestly think I they were just late to the camera switch

Probably not the "best" one, but my favorite was DDP. I was watching with a bunch of friends who only watch every once in awhile and everyone lost their shit

AJ's is the best of all time, period. Debuting in the Royal Rumble after co-headlining Wrestle Kingdom 3 weeks prior, going toe-to-toe with the top guy, announcers putting him over, crowd going nuts. It can't be topped.
