I mean, I saw nothing wrong with the Dark Order segment but I also don't know why it's even being brought up here? Like, at all?
Don't really see how a beatdown is in any way comparable to an insane infidelity parade climaxing in the confirmation that Liv Morgan exists.

This. I was still laughing to myself for a good 5 minutes after it went off the air. I’ll take awful and cheesy over boring and sterile every single day of the week. The weirdest thing about this? Vince, Dunn, and HHH? All absent from the show. And this happened I assue Vince still approved everything but still crazy to see something THIS CRAZY and all of those dudes aren't even present... Have you seen wrestling/WWE weddings? This wasn't even that crazy by usual standards. The priest didn't even get tombstoned.

It was great for wrestlecrap and memes. Horrible acting and pacing (crowd was ready for it to wrap up 5 minutes before it did). Horrible payoff to the Liv teasers. Horrible for the careers of anyone involved not named Rusev who can survive any bad booking. It was fun and fantastic. Literally none of the performers will be negatively effected by it either.

I mean, this is the kind of thing many fans seem to want to take away from wrestling... Why? Why do we have to be ashamed of goofy shit like this? Who are we trying to impress? This is one of the only things that wrestling has over real sports, that they can do bullshit like this with a straight face. I love good athletic wrestling matches as much as anyone, but sometimes I just feel like a stupid car-crash wedding to laugh at for 10 minutes.

I didn’t watch this crap, so are they saying that Liv and Lana had a thing or just that Liv is all of a sudden in love with Lana?

Wrestling can literally be anything you want it to be, one company has a dark cult... several Dark cults, all doing crazy shit and attacking people and recruiting them out of fear and doubt, and another one has a freaky wedding, where something happens and doo doo doo dooooo...

Why/what does AEW have to do with this crazy nonsense? There were some peeps I saw calling the Dark Order segment two weeks ago horrible, like really coming down on it, and it's kind of ironic when it's done so that a segment like this happens just two weeks later really highlighting how much crazier WWE is more in comparison. I guess it's more me looking at the overanalytical eye and saying a bit of retrospect makes things look silly when something comes along and outclasses it so quickly after. This was designed to be an over the top trashy wedding while The Dark Order segment was designed to get over a new heel stable by beating up main eventers...those are 2 very different things.

They are now saying that he showed up shortly before Raw started.

After YEARS of people talking about WWE being so dated, they go and get a Harley Quinn post-emancipation from the Joker gimmick out there ALMOST TWO MONTHS before Birds of Prey hit movie theaters-- what IS this madness?!

I wish they could have cut to a camera backstage to show Vince & Heyman in utter glee during that segment. Vince probably have Paul a raise for that one.

Still don't think Dark Order was the issue with it, SCU winning was and it just hurt the rest of the segment, but I can see where you're coming from. I suppose I just saw it a bit ironic but wrestling fans online can be crazy

The weird thing is that I didn't even recognize that it was Liv Morgan since I'm used to her in the previous gimmick and makeup. She looked like Dana Brooke to me. It would have helped if they had mentioned that it was her on commentary or put the name on the screen. Either way I wanted to hear Lashley channel his inner Tommy Dreamer and proclaim "I'm hardcore...I'll take em both!"
Not sure I get the Dark Order comparisons since we knew this would be trash. The Dark Order stuff came after what should have been theoretically a good TV tag main event and featured a bunch of jobbers in masks attacking main event talent.

Yeah, Liv was saying that the affair took place when around when Liv debuted on the main roster. Granted, I'm confused as to when this could have really happened, because I'm pretty sure Rusev and the Riott Squad were on opposite brands up until the most recent draft.

It was phrased in a way that it sounded like Lana was grooming Liv since she came into WWE and made her into something she wasn't, despite the fact we have never ever seen Lana and Liv interact But it also sounded like on the un mic'd dialogue that Liv was trying to guilt trip Lana into how she left Rusev, and then Liv and Rusev celebrated to end the show so I guess the next phase of this angle is Liv Morgan and Lana wrestling one another which terrifies me greatly.

I think there are good cases to be made that "lookit the hot lesbians" for titillation is pretty damn worth criticizing, and it's especially embarrassing and out-of-touch in 2020.
