I cut out during Mox / Trent because I really was just feeling absolutely none of it tonight. I'll give what I saw a 2.

That was my favorite episode yet. Great way to start the new year. Well-paced, no bad matches, interesting story progression. Several of the tongue-in-cheek inside jokes I love. Turning Britt heel is a very smart move.
Maybe it’s a new year’s bump, but I’m giving it a 10

9/10.
A lot of things done tonight addressing recent criticisms, and a strong start to the year with the show virtually going unopposed.

I really enjoyed it. They focused on everything that was good in 2019, set up stuff for 2020 and set the pace for The Elite to start being The Elite.

Really really good, that show was like Dr. Frasier Crane because the message of the night seemed to be "We're listening."

Really easy 8.
Crowd was hot, opener was great, Women’s 4 way was a blast, Sammy/Dustin did its job, they had promos for people setting up matches for the future, main event was a fun rollercoaster of ridiculous.
Minor technical hitches prevent it from being a 9 but the argument is there. Great way to kick off 2020.

10.
Taking time to address the legitimate criticisms of the product resulted in their best episode of Dynamite yet.

Probably the only time I'll ever get to watch the show live with it being on Wednesdays. I loved it. 9

I gave it a 9. I really enjoyed it. Mox/Trent? Was killer, the Cody match was damn good, the AEW women's match was fine except Britt's parts, and the trios match was your standard fun trio match.

Nice show with no big complaints and none of that "Brandi also has a cult" shit there, so I'm fine with giving it a 9. Though the main event played a huge part in my rating.

They definitely listened to criticism and the show felt a little different.
Wasn’t feeling some of the backstage segments, and did feel some (private party/hangman).
Matches were solid throughout and thus felt like a strong 8 to me throughout. That main event and them sticking the landing solidified it as a 9 to me.
also tazz.

8/10. Good/decent matches and entertaining segments. Missed seeing PnP though.
I approve of the Baker heel turn, but still don't want her winning the title anytime soon.

The Private Party one was VERY BTE-esque.I'm glad they listened to the people saying they wanted some of that in the show

I'll give it an 8 out of 10, not nearly enough storyline development but top-notch matches.

7.I tuned in late so I missed the Cody/Darby match. Good: I liked that due to the building the show looked different than normal.
I liked that there was a better balance of wrestling & non wrestling segments.
I liked the goofy chyron saying Page was drinking. It reminded me of 97 Shotgun Saturday Night with them alerting us that Vader couldn’t wait for the OJ verdict.
I liked that they showed clips from last episode of Jungle Boy vs Jericho and had Jungle Boy address it.I wish they did the same thing after Darby vs Jericho seeing that was the 1st ever AEW World Title match on Dynamite.
Not Good: The horrible audio during backstage segments.Their on TNT with a crew that’s been shooting wrestling for years yet 3 months in they can’t figure out this whole audio thing.
Moxley vs Trent?.I like Trent but they need to stop this 50/50 everyone’s equal crap.Moxley is going for the world title he should have gotten a more dominant victory as Trent hasn’t been built up as a top singles star with credibility.
The main event. It felt like a total rush job. They did nothing much for a few minutes, went to commercial and they had 4 minutes of moves and it was over.Totally underwhelming for the level of talent involved.

Gonna go 9, in part because it's hard to describe just how easy a watch this show is.
Like, I've got a whole bunch of wrestling on my DVR each week, and sometimes two hours of AEW feels like it goes by quicker than some shows that only go one. There's an earnest attempt to get things going for as many different wrestlers as possible (still could stand to do more on that front, but they're clearly trying), promos and angles don't really drag, and the in-ring work usually doesn't feel overstuffed the way it can at times with some promotions that I feel go a bit too far sometimes trying to put PPV style matches on weekly shows.
This week just happened to get a lot of that going on (Cody getting a new wrinkle with Arn there, Nyla reestablished as a killer, Baker finally getting fed up with her recent failures, Janela/Sabian being set up, Dark Order officially having a higher power, still teasing that Daniels is in a bad place, etc.), so I'm going 9 with it.
