I loved that a few seconds later, JBL jokingly looks like he has his hand over his heart and looks like he is dying. He says: “Elizabeth...Elizabeth...”

I agree. I started watching wrestling in 1994 as a very young child, and loved the character-driven days of Yokozuna, Diesel, Razor Ramon, etc...as the Attitude Era came in, I still watched (mostly because my dad loved it), but I was way more into other things. Starting around 2001, I stopped watching wrestling altogether.
Then, when JBL had his gimmick change and push it really caught my interest, because I've always kind of loved when a random guy gets a rocket push to the main event (I'm guilty of being a fan of the Modern Day Maharaja for just that reason), so I started watching again. That era of Smackdown is among my favorite periods in wrestling ever, and the JBL/Eddie feud was a huge part of that. Both were so great at playing their characters and it made sense that those two characters would hate each other. No one would ever argue that JBL was an excellent wrestler, but he was a big tough Texan with this real Stan Hansen quality, and he was a master at paying the chickenshit heel who had no reason to be chickenshit. I was a huge fan and have very fond memories of JBL's championship run.
