Debuting in 1994 at Age 22, and wrestling tonight on January 6th 2020 at age 47, that is a hell of an accomplishment
I know Big Show gets plenty of LOCAL MAN heat but I wanna appreciate the big guy a little bit. He's a great dude, no one ever has a bad thing to say about him, he's always been a solid hand throughout his whole career, and has avoided serious injury on top of that. To be a wrestling giant and have all that going for you, and to have matches at 47, is an incredible feat.
So congrats to Big Show for doing something not many wrestlers are able to do, he's definitely earned the accolade.

Meanwhile in AEW, Dustin Rhodes has wrestled in 5. That blew my mind. I always forget how young he started. Not to be morbid, but Big Show doing this as a giant is especially impressive, because realistically, time is very often not on their side in terms of longevity, in terms of mobility, anyway.

By most metrics, he'd be dead by now actually. Andre didn't make it to 47. Show will actually be 48 in a month.

Vince Carter of WWE.
Will Hogan wrestle this decade? There's a lot on the line here:
70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s.

probably helps that he wrestles the most safe style possible and likely kept clean due to naturally being big.
Even finisher wise he never had to do something like the leg drop that kills your hips.

Loved the food lovin' trio of Joe, Owens and Biggie. They should form their own show.

Ugh..Look, for what it's worth I actually respect The Big Show and from what I have seen he does seem like a pŕetty decent guy in real life.
But yeah, I could happily go the rest of my life without ever seeing a Big Show match ever again.

Show stated that while he does have a similar form of gigantism as Andre, he was able to get it treated at a young age and avoid most of the health risks that Andre had.

If Scott Steiner wrestles another match he would have wrestled 5 decades and a lot of countries. Would not have expected that 20 years ago.
Also, the Rock'n'Roll Express has held the NWA Tag Team Championship in 4 decades now. They have had tag team championship reigns in 5 decades now.

Is he in the Rumble?
I don't know how anyone could get a guy that big out of the ring!

In a couple of days, he will have turned face and heel countless times in each of those decades.
