Looks weird seeing him in a sweater that isn't one of the Original Six teams.

As a Knicks fan from childhood, it destroyed me. Should've just let the man finish his career as a Knick. Gave everything to that team. Never had the perfect pieces around him and had to deal with Jordan throughout the 90's. Even when Jordan wasn't around, he had to deal with Dream and Reggie Miller. Those playoff series with the Pacers in both '94 and '95 were fun.

Reggie Miller vs the entire city of New York was my favorite thing in NBA history. as for the topic, I’ll go with Warren Moon as a Chief. Never was right for me.

A couple of ones from my team Everton, we have the 'distinction' of being David Ginola's final club, we signed him on a free from Aston Villa in January 2002 as one of Walter Smith's last ditch attempts at improving the team's fortunes. Outside of an outstanding debut against, I believe, Arsenal, he didn't really do much in his other 6 games and was frozen out once David Moyes came in in March and would retire at the end of the season after being released
The other one was the mercurial Paul Gascoigne, signed on a free in 2000 but was in and out of the team for much of the 21 months he was at the club due to his mental and alcohol issues and injury, he still managed 32 games in total, scoring only the once (in his second season) and had a roll back, man of the match performance in an FA Cup game before leaving for Burnley just after Smith was sacked

Here's an old one: That's Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers on the Red Sox but he would never pitch for them. With free agency becoming a thing, Oakland A's owner Charlie O. Finley realized he wasn't going to be able to afford his star players so on June 15, 1976 he shocked the baseball world by selling Fingers and Joe Rudi to the Red Sox and Vida Blue to the Yankees. But none of the players would play for their new teams. Commissioner Bowie Kuhn froze the deals and overturned them 3 days later. He said it was to preserve baseball's competive balance but many assumed he did because he hated Finley. One that I will never forget: Justin Morneau was another one that came and went. He wasn't bad. Good contact hitter. I would have kept him around another year.

Bob Cousy with the Cincinnati Royals in 1969: Cousy was hired to be the Royals head coach but the owners convinced the 41 year old Cousy to come out of retirement as a player-coach to boost attendance. Boston still had him on their retired list so the Royals had to send them reserve forward Bill Dinwiddie as compensation. After five years of retirement it was clear that Cousy had nothing left. After playing a grand total of 34 minutes over 7 games in November Cousy called it quits for good.
