Ever have a game that you remember playing or seeing, but just can't remember what it was called? Well, maybe we can help.
Describe a game that you remember playing or seeing, and maybe people can guess what its name is.

I could swear that I remember an Adventure Island game where the levels were structured like 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-1, 2-2, etc. And all the worlds went to 4 levels and there was no map (I don't think).

I once had this CD collection of Shareware games, there was this odd game that had you move a character in a screen wih lots of npc walking about, tall trees on both ends of the screens.
I had no idea what I was supposed to do and can't remember the name... If only I could find the CDs... Joel of Vinesauce played one of the discs in one of his DOS game streams.

Man, it has been so long now that i'm forgetting the details but their was this computer game where you play as a detective and I think you are an animal or something and you have to solve clues.
There was also this monster mash type game where you could the like click on them and have different shit happen. I used to always run away from the computer because their was a certain person you would click on and his whole face would go crazy and he would spazz out
I remember a Magic School Bus game too where you had to collect things but I forgot the name of it
I want to say I played those games between Kindergarden and 2nd grade

Good topic!
PS1-era game: It involved these guys on I think it was a train, and I can't remember much about the villains, but you had a bunch of guns to use. I remember there being like a SWAT-theme to it, and there was a kitchen. lol, I really wish I had better descriptors, but it's all I remember. Graphics reminded me of Parasite Eve. I think it was fixed camera, too.
NES/SNES/GENESIS era game: I can't for the life of me find this game. It has a really colorful look to it, like Bubble Bobble or Parasol Stars, and you had to clear the screen to move on to the next level.I'm almost positive it was a static screen with some sort of enemy. I remember you were on the bottom and a bunch of stuff was on the top. There were items or power-ups or fruit to collect. I'm watching Rainbow Islands videos on various consoles, and it looks REALLY close to that. I want to say it was SNES or Genesis, but I don't know for sure. Not PC Engine/Turbografx; I rented it a few times and never had those consoles. It could've been Sega Saturn? I had that for like a year.

Your post reminded me of a game, it was Resident Evil style controls but not a horror game at all. All I could really remember was it had a more anime art style and the name was an acronym. Did some searching and I think it was T.R.A.G. - Mission of Mercy

PS1 Era beat-em-up game. It was multiplayer, 3D, “Realistic” style graphics which I thought were amazing at the time. I believe you got to choose between a handful of different characters.

Google has me looking at maybe Fighting Force, but I’m not sure if that’s actually it.

If not Fighting Force, could be Fighting Force 2.

There was a board game I played as a child in the early ‘70’s. I always thought it was called “Around the World” but I have never been able to find it by that name.
The board was a map of the world. I remember it looking oldish, like something made in the 30s or 40s. I think you started the game in New York or maybe Los Angeles. The goal of the game was to be the first player to reach Singapore. You could travel by either boat, train, or plane and your token would change to whatever transport you were using. The planes, trains, and boat tokens were all made out of metal.
That’s all I remember of it.

I remember airplanes and they would not have been part of a game from the late 1800s. The goal was to reach Singapore. There was a big star with a circle there because that’s where you were going.

That screams Super Adventure Island for the SNES. I can remember playing the game at the local rec center back in the '90s. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qujVzaoiDA

There was a dropping gem puzzle game that I don’t remember the name of, but it came bundled in a computer game collection. The stage number screen had a dramatic droning chord.

Nintendo 64 fighting game. It had two games on it. One was a traditional Tekken-style 3D fighter, and the other was a faster game with Super-Deformed versions of the same characters. It had an incredibly involved create-a-character system for the time, and I remember making a like 5-foot-tall school girl and making her train with the wrestler to learn nothing but german suplexes and pile drivers and shit.
